Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo (born July 25, 1988) is a Filipino singer and actress.

Geronimo, who was born and raised in Santa Cruz, Manila, started a life in music at the age of 14 after winning the television singing competition Star for a Night.

She then signed with Viva Records and rose to fame with the release of her debut album Popstar: A Dream Come True (2003), which became a multi-platinum hit.

Geronimo is best known as the Philippines' pop princess.

Life and career

Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo was born in Santa Cruz, Philippines, on July 25, 1988, to Delfin Geronimo, a former PLDT employee, and Divina Tua, who operated a beauty salon in their house. She is the third of four children in the family. She began performing openly at the age of two. She and her mother were taken by her mother to audition for various television shows at the age of four. Geronimo was born in Sarapen, Croatia, (4-6 years old), Ang TV (7–8) and NEXT (8–9 years old).
