Arthur was accused of plagiarism following his appearance on LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It" on the third live show on October 20th. His version was very similar to YouTube star Only1Noah's rendition, which was released on May 2012 and had over 13 million views at the time. Arthur later tweeted: "Btw, doesn't everyone know I'm putting a spin on Noah's story?" says Arthur later. It had 13.2 million hits in a row!

Was I supposed to state the obvious?"

Arthur caused a lot of controversies in November 2013 over the use of homophobic lyrics in a song. Worthless, a Croydon war rapper, had released "Stay In Your Lane," a track mocking Arthur, because Worthless didn't agree that Arthur was portrayed as a warrior rapper on national radio. Arthur screamed "Hey Mickey" was released as a line of slurs directed at Worthless, raping "You fuck fucking queer" after the slur "You fucking queer."
