Career
Carter began his acting and singing career early in life as his mother alerted him outside and enrolled him in voice lessons with Marianne Prinkey, a voice coach. When she was 10, she continued to teach ballet, tap, and hip hop at Karl and DiMarco's School of Theatre and Dance. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he appeared in numerous television shows, including the Florida State Lottery and The Money Store, talent shows, and the Florida State Fair, as well as numerous television programs, including the late 1980s and early 1990s, and performed around Tampa Bay, Florida. He referred to himself as the eccentric one, whose acquaintances were elderly, and was consistently picked on a lot until fourth grade, when his family moved to Apollo Beach, Florida. In the fourth-grade production of Phantom of the Opera at Miles Elementary School, his first role was as the lead character. His appearance was so energetic that he received a standing ovation, with people applauding how beautifully the boy's voice projected. He also produced "Reach For A Book," a show called "The Klub," and appeared at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers home games for two years. He appeared on a Slip 'N Slide as a child in the 1990 Tim Burton film Edward Scissorhands as a boy. "It would be going too far to say I was really in Edward Scissorhands because I was so far behind that you can't tell it's me," he said. It would be better to say that I was on the set of the film... I was on the scene when Edward appeared out of a window to the neighborhood. For a split second, he sees some children playing - one of whom was me. I was sliding on a yellow piece of plastic we used to call a Slip n' Slide. They were long flat sheets with water flowing out of holes, and children were very popular at the time. In the middle of a shot, I had to slide on one. Being on the set was great, but it was also really cold and they made us do it a lot of times."
Sandy, one of his dance instructors, placed him in his first group, "Nick and the Angels." Carter covered a number of well-known songs by other artists, including "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do" and "Uptown Girl" as well as a handful of original songs that he would perform at concerts. These recordings were released in October 2002 as part of a Dynamic Discs, Inc.'s Before the Backstreet Boys 1989-1993. Carter discovered AJ McLean and Howie Dorough, two of whom became friends, after several auditions.
He and his siblings grew up in an eccentric, dysfunctional household. Due to his parents' continued fighting and screaming at each other, he had a rough childhood. He had grown up with either dead, heroin users, or prisoners, and, finally, performing was Carter's biggest escape from his difficulties. He had a winning showing on the 1992 New Original Amateur Hour at the age of 12.
Carter auditioned for Disney's The Mickey Mouse Club and the Backstreet Boys at 12 years old. He was invited to join the club and was given the option of either joining The Mickey Mouse Club on a $50,000 deal or this new music group. Rather than the Mickey Mouse Club, Carter decided to work with the group rather than the Mickey Mouse Club. He had his own personal tutor on tour when he joined the company. Carter's GED was confirmed on I Heart Nick Carter in 2013 or 2014. Carter, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and Kevin Richardson formed the Backstreet Boys, a 13-year-old boy who formed the Backstreet Boys in 1993. Carter is the youngest member of the Carter family. The Backstreet Boys have released many albums, the most notable of which being 2019's DNA. Backstreet Boys, the company's exclusive headlining residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, was announced in March 2016.
In 2002, when the Backstreet Boys expressed a strong desire to leave their leadership company, The Firm, Carter became the first member of the organization to commit to them to concentrate on his solo career and work on a solo album. Carter began writing songs and recording during his downtime, when Jive asked him to do a solo album. He began working on his first solo album as the band began recording their new album without him. Carter's first single from his solo album, "Help Me," debuted on radio countdowns in New York City, and gained substantial international recognition, though "I Got You" was a minor hit in Europe in September 2002. His first solo album Now Or Never was released on October 29, 2002, and it sold over 500,000 copies in the first week. It reaches the No. 1 in the United States. Both in the United States and Canada, 17 on the Billboard 200 charts and gold medalist, both in the United States and Canada. In several countries, the album debuted on top charts. He also launched a world tour in support of the album. He was No. 1. In a "most Beautiful People" issue of People Magazine in 2000, 9 of the country's "Best Man in the World" was voted by readers of the teen magazine Cosmogirl's "Sexiest Man in the World," knocking out such legends as actor Brad Pitt and rival pop star Justin Timberlake for the title, resulting in a media-hyped feud between Timberlake and Carter in an arm-wrestling match on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where Carter defeated Timberlake defeating in an arm-wrestling match with Jimmy Fallon ad's magazine "Most Beautiful People Magazine's "Sex in the best man in the ad's "Sex "Most "Wright "Legine's "Kin the adout adout Justin Timberlake, adout Justin Timberlake, adout adout enza, versus Justin Timberlake, adout vogue, adoutputer" in an arm-wrestling match, adoutputer's, versus Timberlake's, versus Carter's" in an arm-wrestling match against Carter's in an arm-wrestling match against Timberlake's "Witedoutput: adoutput: versus Carter's, adoutput: versus Timberlake's, a versus Carter's versus Carter's adoutput: versus Timberlake, a, versus Carter's adoutputer versus Carter's, versus Timberlake in a. Carter began recording his second solo album in 2004, but it was put on hold as the Backstreet Boys returned to the studio to record a new album in 2004. In 2006, one of the tracks from the earlier recording sessions was used as the theme tune to the television show House of Carters. Carter, Matthew Gerrard, and Bridget Louise Benenate wrote "Let It Go." Carter will be eight years before the artist decides on a new solo album. Carter began to work on the album in 2008, but the bulk of his second solo album, "I'm Taking Off," occurred during any downtime he encountered in between Backstreet Boys touring in 2010. "I'm Taking Off" first appeared in Japan on February 2, 2011 in Japan and on May 24, 2011, on iTunes. The album was later released in other countries on different dates. Carter launched a campaign on Indiegogo.com, a crowdfunding portal, to raise funds for his film "Evil Blessings" in July 2013. The aim was to raise $85,000. Rather, the campaign raised $156,214. Carter has said he'll use his money and the funds raised to finance the film. Multiple perks depended on how much money you donated in exchange for the donations. They included chats with Carter on Skype, your name in the movie credits, and/or website, movie merchandise (t-shirt, poster, DVD, etc. ). Acting parts, tickets to the premiere, tickets to BSB concerts, an online concert, and many other things. Carter wrote the script for the film. Due to a few setbacks, the film was delayed and put on hold. In July 2013, the film's director died. The film was expected to premiere in June 2014, but the Backstreet Boys' "In a World Like This" tour delayed filming and was postponed until January 2015. Carter had more time to rewrite the script. Carter announced in October 2014 that this film would be postponed due to the director's death. In January 2015, he'll film "Dead West," rather than a new one.
