Ariana Grande Life

Ariana Grande-Butera (born June 26, 1993) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress.

Grande, a native of Boca Raton, Florida, began her career in 2008 as a member of the Broadway musical 13.

She rose to fame as Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious (2010–2013) and in its spin-off Sam & Cat, 2013–2014).

Grande recorded songs for Victorious and signed with Republic Records in 2011, shortly after the company's executives discovered videos of her covering songs that she posted onto YouTube, she became interested in exploring music.

In 2013, she released Yours Truly, her debut album.

It debuted on top of the US Billboard 200 and spawned her first top-ten song, "The Way," a 1950s doom-influenced pop and R&B album starring rapper Mac Miller.

Early life

Ariana Grande-Butera was born in Boca Raton, Florida, on June 26, 1993. She is the niece of Joan Grande, the founder of Hose-McCann Communications, a manufacturer of communications and safety equipment owned by the Grande family since 1964, and Edward Butera, a graphic design company owner in Boca Raton. Grande, who is of Italian descent, has described herself as an Italian American with roots in Sicilia and Abruzze. Frankie Grande, a performer and producer, has a close relationship with her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Grande. Before her birth, her family moved from New York to Florida, and her parents separated when she was eight or nine years old.

She was inadvertently struck on each wrist by errant hockey pucks two times, resulting in minor bruises both times. The second occurrence occurred at National Car Rental Center in October 9, 1998, in which she became the first child to ever ride a Zamboni in the brand-new arena during the first intermission, as a result of her parents' $200 winning bid at an auction. The Zamboni's portrait on the Zamboni appeared in the South Florida SunSentinel the next day. On January 16, 2002, she sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Panthers' home game against the Chicago Blackhawks at age 8.

Grande appeared in the musical Annie as a young child and appeared in the Fort Lauderdale Children's Theater for the first time. She appeared in The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast's productions. She appeared in a karaoke lounge on a cruise ship and with many orchestras, including South Florida's Philharmonic, Florida Sunshine Pops, and Symphonic Orchestras at age eight. She attended the Pine Crest Academy and later North Broward Preparatory during this time.

Personal life

Grande has admitted that she suffered with hypoglycemia, which she attributed to poor eating habits. She has been a vegan since 2013. Since working with Starbucks to produce a special version of one of her favorite beverages that was revealed to contain eggs, fans questioned if she was still a vegan. Grande is vegan, according to her nutritionist, Harley Pasternak, but she has to remind her that "feel OK about indulging and celebrating often."

Following the Manchester Arena bombing, Grande suffered with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety; she almost pulled out of her appearance in the 2018 film A Very Wicked Halloween due to fear. Grande has also stated that she has been in therapy for more than a decade, after first seeing a mental health specialist shortly after her parents' divorce.

Grande was raised Roman Catholic but left the church during Benedict XVI's pontificate, rejecting the church's views on homosexuality and noting that her half-brother Frankie is gay. Since she was 12, she and Frankie have followed Kabbalah, a branch of Jewish mysticism. "The backbone of our belief is that if you're kind to others, wonderful things will happen to you," she said. Many of her songs, including "Break Your Heart Right Back," are in favor of LGBT rights. "A feminist feminist attitude has also been portrayed as "an advocate for a sex-positive attitude."

Senator Bernie Sanders' second presidential campaign was supported by Grande in November 2019.

In Lower Manhattan, Grande owned a $16 million penthouse. In June 2020, she purchased a mansion in Hollywood Hills for $13.7 million. Grande bought her Montecito, California home, which had a break-in three months before, up for auction in September 2022. According to reports, the mansion sold for $9.1 million.

In 2019, Forbes began focusing on Grande's earnings.

Graham Phillips appeared in the Broadway musical 13 cast in 2008 and dated him until 2011. Between August and December 2013, she dated rapper Big Sean, then dated him from October 2014 to April 2015.

The two couples first met in 2016. In 2012, after recording "The Way" with Mac Miller in 2012, they began dating in 2016. The two co-produced "My Favorite Part" from Miller's album The Divine Feminine (2016), which was released in September 2016. By May 2018, their marriage was over. Miller died as a result of an accidental opioid overdose in September; Grande expressed sadness over his death on social media and listed him as her "dearest buddy."

Grande began dating actor and comedian Pete Davidson in May 2018, and the two of them became engaged the next month. In October 2018, the two called off their marriage and ended the friendship.

Dalton Gomez, the Grande Dalton Gomez real estate agent, joined Grande in January 2020. In the music video of her and Justin Bieber's charity single "Stuck With U," their personal information, although mostly private, was made public. Grande announced their engagement on December 20, 2020, after 11 months of dating. They married in a private ceremony in Montecito, California, where she wore a custom Vera Wang gown. With over 25 million followers, her wedding pictures became one of the most popular Instagram posts.

Ariana Grande Career

Career

Grande, however, concentrated on theater until she reached the age of 13. "I was like, 'I want to make an R&B album,'" she began to arrive in Los Angeles, California, with the slogan, "I'm sorry, that's a helluva aim." Who is going to buy a 14-year-old's R&B album?' In 2008, Grande was cast as Charlotte in the Broadway musical 13. Grande left North Broward Preparatory School but continued to be enrolled when she joined the musical; the school sent her books to study with tutors. She has performed at various times at Birdland, the New York City jazz club.

In 2009, Grande appeared alongside 13 co-star Elizabeth Gillies in the Nickelodeon television show Victorious. She played the "adorably dimwitted" Cat Valentine in the sitcom, which was set at a performing arts high school. For the role, she had to dye her hair red every other week, which severely damaged her hair. The show premiered in March 2010 to the second most devoted audience for a live-action series in Nickelodeon, with 5.7 million viewers. Grande was a success on teen idols, but she was more interested in a music career, saying that acting is "fun," but that music has always been first and foremost with me." Her appearance was compared to "Brittany Murphy's performance as the hapless Tai in Clueless" and described as "very impressionable and easily swayed" but "most sweet."

Grande wanted to concentrate on her music career after the first season of Victorious wrapped, and she began working on her debut album in August 2010. She began working with vocal coach Eric Vetro to enhance her vocal range. The second season of the show premiered in April 2011 to 6.2 million viewers, making it the show's most rated episode. Grande appeared in Greyson Chance's video for his album Hold On 'til the Night (2011) depicting his ex-girlfriend. In August 2011, she made her first musical appearance on the Victorious soundtrack's track "Get It Up." Grande made several videos of herself singing covers of Adele, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey's songs and posted them on YouTube as part of her filming Victorious. Monte Lipman, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Republic Records, came across one of the clips. He sent Lipman's links to her, who signed her to a recording contract, after she was taken care of by her vocals. In November 2011, Grande played the title role in the English dub of the Spanish-language animated film Snowflake, the White Gorilla. Princess Diaspro appeared in Winx Club's Nickelodeon revival from 2011 to 2013.

Grande's first single, "Put Your Hearts Up," was released in December 2011 on a teen-oriented pop album that was never released. She later dismissed the song for its bubblegum pop sound, saying she had no interest in recording pop music. The song was later designated Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). She sang of Victorious 2.0, a second soundtrack, that was released as an extended play on June 5, 2012. On November 6, 2012, the third and final soundtrack, Victorious 3.0, was announced, with a duet by Grande and Victoria Justice titled "L.A. Boyz" as a resultant, and a accompanying music video following shortly after. Grande collaborated on the single version of "Popular Song," a duet with British singer and songwriter Mika in December 2012.

Victorious was not revived after four seasons, with the final broadcasting in February 2013. In the pantomime-style musical theatre production A Snow White Christmas with Charlene Tilton and Neil Patrick Harris at the Pasadena Playhouse, Grande appeared as Snow White. Amanda Benson appeared in Swindle, a 2013 Nickelodeon film version of the children's book of the same name. Meanwhile, Nickelodeon created Sam & Cat, an iCarly and Victorious spin-off starring Jennette McCurdy and Grande. On the buddy comedy that paired the characters as roommates who form an after-school babysitting firm, Grande and McCurdy reprised their roles as Cat Valentine and Sam Puckett. The pilot premiere aired on June 8, 2013 and the network apprehension immediately picked up the show. Nickelodeon doubled Sam & Cat's original 20-episode order for season one next month, making it a 40-episode season. Despite its success in the ratings, the show was cancelled after 35 episodes. On July 17, 2014, the last episode was broadcast.
