She appeared onstage as Junjun from 2008 to 2010.

She and Qian Lin are one of the only two non-Japanese people to visit Morning Musume in history.

Career

Li auditioned for Super Girl in 2006, but she did not make it to the top ten.

The project, which was mainly hidden from the members of Morning Musume, provided her and the other defeated Super Girl contestants the opportunity to audition in Beijing, China. Li accepted despite her family's disapproving of the Japanese-Chinese tensions.

Li was officially recognized as a "foreign exchange student" alongside Lin Lin Lin in Morning Musume on March 15, 2007. On March 18, 2007, she made her first Japanese television appearance on Hello! The Morning Musume's variety show. She moved to Tokyo, Japan, within the same week. Li made her first stage appearance at Morning Musume chief Hitomi Yoshizawa's graduation concert on May 6, 2007 at Saitama Super Arena. Morning Musume released the single "Onna ni Sachi Are," Li's first song with the group in July 2007.

As the group Zoku V-U-Den, Li, along with Morning Musume members Sayumi Michishige and Koharu Kusumi, and Berryz Kobo member Risako Sugaya, released the song "Sekai wa Futari no Tame ni" in 2009.

During the final show of Hello!

Li, Lin Lin Lin Lin Lin and Eri Kamei announced on August 8, 2010 that they would leave Morning Musume after the last show of their fall tour, Morning Musume 2010 Rival Survival. Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game," the group's final single, was released on November 17, 2010. Li's last appearance with the club took place on December 15, 2010, when she performed "Furusato" as her graduation song.
