Career

Jessica was the first member of what would be called Girls' Generation to sign with SM Entertainment in 2000. She was elected as a member of the nine-member girl group that debuted on August 5, 2007. Jessica released two singles with Seohyun and Tiffany: "Love Hate" (Korean: " ), lit. "Mabinogi" (It's Amazing!) and "Bad Older Brother" ("It's Wonderful!) Jessica was part of 8Eight's second album, Infinity, which was released on March 3, 2008. Despite being the one singing the harmony and adlibs, she was not included in the music video. In addition,, she had several duets: One for Shinee's "One Year Later" and one with Park Myung-soo, "Naengmyeon." Leeteuk, Sungmin, Donghae, Siwon, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun, as well as other Taeyeon, Sunny, Sooyoung, and Seohyun performed the "Seoul Song" with Super Junior's Leeteuk, Sungmin, Donghae, Donghae, Kyuhyun, Taeyeon, Sooyoung and Seohyun and Seo Jessica appeared on stage in Legally Blonde's South Korean production, alongside Lee Ha-nui and Kim Ji-woo; the performance opened on November 14, 2009. Jessica was named female lead in Stephon Marbury's autobiographical film titled My Other Home, alongside Marbury himself, over the next year. In addition to Ki Hong Lee's short action comedy Two Bellmen Three, she was also cast. She appeared on YES!, a variety show in China. After being taught by professional swimmer Sun Yang, coach Bethany found herself in a swimming competition. Jessica and Kim Jae-kyung became the main host of Beauty Bible's beauty show Beauty Bible.

Jessica's first solo album would be released in February 2016 through her new company, Coridel Entertainment. Jung's first album will be released in May, according to officials in April. Coridel Entertainment unveiled the track list on April 30, which also included Fabolous's "Fly" on the title track. Jung wrote and produced four of the six tracks. The name of the extended play was revealed to be With Love, J, and was released on May 17, 2016, as well as the lead single "Fly." In the Korean version, Jessica's single, "Call Me Before You Sleep," was digitally released on September 26. Jessica appeared in the third season of Sisters Who Make Waves, a Chinese survival reality television show in which female celebrities over 30 years old compete in a ten-member girl group from May 20 to August 5, 2022. She eventually finished second in the finals and debuted in X-Sister.
