Life and career
Yoona was born in Yeongdeunggu, South Korea, on May 30, 1990. Her father and an older sister have been married for five years, and she has three children.
She was cast in the SM Saturday Open Casting Audition in 2002 and spent five years "doing nothing but constant preparation" in singing, dancing, and acting.
