Music career

On October 2, 2014, Alade's debut studio album King of Queens was announced. Selebobo, Sizzle Pro, Shady Bizniz, Philkeyz, Young D, GospelOnDebeatz, Dil, OJB Jezreel, Mr Chidoo, Fliptyce, and Beat Nation have all collaborated with producers including Selebobo, Sizzle Pro, Shady Bizniz, Delia Bizniz, Young D, Young D, GospelOnDebeatz, DIL, OJB Jezre The album was preceded by the singles "Johnny," "Tangerine," and "Kissing." It features guest appearances and skits from Bovi, R2Bees, Phyno, Chidinma, DIL, Selebobo, Diamond Platnumz, and Diamond Platnumz. Alade has toured many African countries, including Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa. In November 2014, the album's limited edition was released; it contains French translations of songs that were never performed in English. The deluxe edition's cover art was unveiled on October 21, 2014. According to the music website A Nation of Billions, King of Queens has sold over 100,000 copies.

Mama Africa, Alade's second studio album, was released on March 25, 2016. Mama Africa, Alade's name, and it said the emphasis would be on African women's strengths and weaknesses. The album features elements of Afropop, highlife, R&B, coupé-décalé, hip-hop, and pop. Alade admitted that recording the album was a challenge because she was often flying to new countries every day. She also said she recorded the album to "capture all of Africa in a single CD." Alade told The Fader magazine that she collaborated with artists from West Africa, East Africa, and South Africa. She contracted GospelOnDeBeatz, DJ Coublon, Selebobo, Philkeyz, BeatsByEmzo, Masterkraft, Rotimi Keys, and Mr. Chidoo to produce the album. P-Square, Sarkodie, Sauti Sol, Flavour N'abania, Rotimi Keys, DJ Arafat, and Selebobo appear on Mama Africa. A week before its official launch, it was available on iTunes as a pre-order. Alade revealed that the proceeds from the album's sale will go to the Feed a Child charity initiative. On April 6, 2016, the album's deluxe version was released, and it includes interviews with South African musicians Bucie and AKA. Mama Africa has been charted in Germany, Malaysia, and France.

Black Magic, Alade's third studio album, was released on December 15, 2017. The album is a follow-up to her 2017 EP Mama Afrique, and Falz and Olamide appear as guest artists. In November 2017, Black Magic was available for pre-order. Alade introduced the word BM on social media ahead of disclosing the album's name and asking her followers to guess its meaning before publishing it on social media. DJ Coublon, Vtek, Sarz, Krizbeatz, Young D, Sess, Fliptyce, IAmBeat, Philkeyz, 2Kriss, and Echo produced the album. "Knack Am," "Single & Searching," and "Heart Robber" were among the previously released singles "Knack Am," which were both backed up by the internet. The album received mostly critical feedback from music critics who mocked its lyrics and Alade's songwriting. In an interview with The Star newspaper, Alade performed some of the songs that made the album last year, while others were recorded in August.

Alade and Universal Music Africa (UMA) and UMG France announced in September 2019 that they had agreed to a multi-year license agreement. UMA will be the sole worldwide record partner for Alade, while UMG France will be the international rollout partner for all of her debuts under the brand.

Alade has earned numerous ambassadorial jobs and collaborations from various companies both nationally and internationally over the years. Luc Belaire, Glo, Maybelline, Shell, and many others have endorsed her.

Alade became Hollandia Yoghurt's new brand ambassador on January 16, 2020.

Vtek, Phil Keyz, Egar Boi, Dr. Amir, Krizbeatz, IamBeatz, Youp Boelen, Jimmy Huru, and Yung Felix were also listed as the album's producers. Fiokee and Max Meurs were among the guitarists she had enlisted. The album has received critical acclaim and boasts the most singles of all Alade's albums. Yemi Alade, 20,21, released seven singles on August 13, her second EP Queendoncom. Since Alade did not have no guest appearances on the album, it was a solo effort.
