Jade Louise Ewen (born January 1988) is a British singer, songwriter, actress, and former member of Sugababes.
Ewen began singing in a youth band named Trinity Stone, which signed with Sony BMG in 2005 but then disbanded in 2007 without ever releasing an album.

Early life
Ewen was born on January 24th 1988 and grew up in Plaistow, London, the child of Trevor and Carol Ewen. Her mother is Jamaican, while her father, who is of Italian origin, was raised in Scotland. Trevor is blind and partially blind, while Carol is visually impaired. Ewen is a caregiver to both of her parents and her two younger siblings, Shereen and Kiel, due to her parents' disabilities. Ewen started performing and dancing before she was four years old. After receiving a scholarship, she attended New City Primary School and Brampton Manor Academy before transferring to the Sylvia Young Theatre School (SYTS). She appeared in The Bill, Casualty, Mr. Harvey Lights a Candle, and The Ghost Hunter while a student at SYTS. Ewen appeared at an open audition for The Lion King at the age of ten. Career
How To Dance, Ewen's appeared in the children's dance DVD, How To Dance. She appeared in Busted's "What I Go to School For" video for a short time. She appeared in the Noggin series Out There from 2003 to 2004. Ewen became a member of the Girl Group Trinity Stone, which later signed with Sony BMG. In 2007, the company was disbanded. In April 2010, the Sugababes released their eighth studio album. In late 2010, Ewen became the face of Miss Ultimo jargon. Crown Talent & Media Group, the company's chairman, and its board, King Talent & Media Group, have both dropped Island Records, the group's ten-year old company, for a new three-album distribution deal with Sony Music's RCA Records.
