Aundrea Fimbres Life

Aundrea Aurora Fimbres (born June 29, 1983) is an American singer and dancer.

Fimbres was a member of the pop music group Danity Kane.

She is a soprano and was known for her melismatic vocal runs, and falsetto registered harmonies and also for having the highest vocal range of her fellow band members.

Early life

Fimbres was born in Upland, California, to Mexican-American parents. The youngest child in her family, Fimbres first attended Claremont High School then transferred to Upland High School.

Fimbres was singing from an early age. During her high school years she was a member of a pop ensemble, Intrigue.

Before Fimbres auditioned for Making the Band 3 she was three semesters short of completing a degree in education, with the intention of becoming a kindergarten teacher — a back-up plan to singing that she had promised her parents she would have.

Aundrea Fimbres Career

Career

In 2004, Fimbres appeared in Los Angeles for the first season of Making the Band 3 – the same audition as fellow band member Aubrey O'Day. They met at the audition, which eventually led to their friendship. Fimbres was not only popular at the last audition, but she was the first contestant to make it into the house.

Fimbres was one of the competition's "standouts." She excelled in dancing, and her vocals set her apart from other competitors. She suffered with significant personal challenges while competing, which made her even more attractive to the audience. Jason, the women in the household's "den mother," was viewed as unkind toward the women. Jason chastised Fimbres for not having a well-toned abdomen in one episode. Despite this, Fimbres continued to perform well vocal and dance numbers.

Sean Combs and O'Day didn't register for a band, but instead selected Fimbres as one of the contestants from the first season and O'Day to participate in the second season. Fimbres' dance performance decreased during the second season. Her vocals remained favourable among judges and fellow competitors, but her dancing ability was put into question. Fimbres later improved the quality of her dancing. She was chosen to be in the group on the season finale of the series, and then she was revealed as Danity Kane.

Danity Kane's first studio album, Danity Kane, was released in 2006 and has achieved commercial success in the United States, exporting a million copies domestically. "Show Stopper" and "Ride for You" were two hits from the album, as well as the ballad "Walk for You." Following the success of their second top ten hit single "Damaged" in 2008, the Dollhouse's second studio album, Welcome to the Dollhouse, was released on March 18, 2008. The band became the first female act in Billboard history to have their first two albums open at the top of the charts.

The departure of O'Day and D. Woods was confirmed at the end of the season on October 14, 2008. Fimbres and Dawn Richard were the only two returning members of the group and the series, with bandmate Shannon Bex deciding not to continue within the club and declining to return to film the show's 2009 season. In January 2009, the company's breakup was announced. However, they were shown completely over in April 2009, where Fimbres was "officially" released from her Bad Boy Records contract by Combs in the April 16, 2009 episode of the series.

Fimbres had a strong link with O'Day when they first started playing for the band. The two made it through two seasons together and built up a large and loyal fanbase before Combs asked them to be in the team. In the season 2 finale of the series, viewers named the two characters "the AUs" and "Aubrea" (portmanteau of their first names put together), and O'Day declared Fimbres her best friend. Fimbres' friendship with O'Day began later, but it was later revealed that one of the reasons for Danity Kane's demise was distant, as shown by his.

The original Fimbres song "Brush You Off" was leaked on the internet in June 2010. This song was later revealed to be a demonstration that Fimbres had produced in 2006. Aubrey O'Day, a former Danity Kane bandmate, revealed via Ustream that they had recorded "Ego Trip" for Aubrey O'Day's solo album in August 2010, but it was later taken off the album before it was revealed. They also answered some of the band's questions about their break.

Fimbres, a Latin/funk/R&B band from Norwalk, California, began performing and touring with Soto in 2010.

Fimbres was named executive producer of J-Live Entertainment's Next Big Thing Talent Show in 2012.

Danity Kane would reunite in mid-2013, according to rumors. Danity Kane appeared at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards (without D. Woods, who did not return to the organization), announcing that the pair were back together on August 25, 2013.

The band's first official reunion track, "Lemonade," was released on the internet on May 15, 2014, according to Official Danity Kane Soundcloud. The single was produced by The Stereotypes, and it features rapper Tyga over a sampled from Grindin', Clipse's 2002 hit song.

On the first night of their #NOFilterTour tour at The Fillmore in San Francisco, Fimbres announced that she would leave the group at the end of their tour, and Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, and Dawn Richard announced that they will continue as a trio.

"Dip With You" by Fimbres' album, Cyclone, is a song that refers to Baby Bash's album, Cyclone. Dorothy in Oz: The Musical co-star Nathaniel Flatt of V-Factory appeared as Dorothy in Oz: The Musical from December 4–13, 2009. On December 30, 2010, a snippet of the O'Day and Fimbres' collaboration, "Ego Trip," was leaked on the internet, but the project was never complete.

Fimbres appeared on O'Day's reality show All About Aubrey on March 11, 2011, where they recorded a song titled "Ego Trip" for O'Day's solo album, but their single was never released. Fimbres drops out of a show she does not want to do anymore, according to O'Day, who tells O'Day that she does not want to be in the industry anymore.

Fimbres appeared on Dawn Richard's third studio album Blackheart in 2015, on a track titled "Phoenix." The album was originally intended and recorded for their then-upcoming album DK3, but Danity Kane and the others soon after finished the song. Richard has said she was going to sell the album to another artist, but also keep Fimbres' verse on the song because they had both adored the song from the start.
