Since leaving WWE in 2014, she has made occasional appearances in the company. With her catchphrase, she is known for inciting sarcastic reactions from viewers. "She is a heel.'" says the author.

Vickie Guerrero Career

Professional wrestling career

Vickie Guerrero's debut as a face with her husband Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio in 2005, when a storyline progressed in which Eddie promised to reveal a mystery concerning Mysterio's son, Dominik. Vickie appeared on SmackDown's July 14 episode! Eddie's three children are able to discourage Eddie from divulging Mysterio's information. Eddie promised not to reveal the information after losing to Mysterio at The Great American Bash, but that turned out to be another one of his character's distinctive lies, as Eddie revealed that Dominik was really his (kayfabe) biological son. Vickie returned to SummerSlam later that night to tell Eddie that he should put an end to his Mysterio campaign and not to proceed with the "Custody of Dominik" ladder match that night. She cost him the match by climbing over the ladder he was on as he was supposed to win. Eddie was still on the ground afterwards, so he didn't get up and attack Mysterio. Eddie Guerrero died of heart disease in his Minneapolis hotel room on November 13, 2005, and his nephew Chavo discovered him on November 13, 2005. This resulted in Rey Mysterio, Eddie's true-life buddy, getting more screen time and greater attention, including beating Kurt Angle and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 22 for the World Heavyweight Championship. Eddie was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on the night of WrestleMania, and Vickie accepted the award on his behalf.

Vickie was more prominent in more recent newslines in 2006, around seven or eight months after Eddie's death. On the August 4 SmackDown, she first asserted herself during a feud between Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero. On the Aug. 4 SmackDown, Chavo accused Mysterio of being "nothing but a leech living off the blood of the Guerrero name." She subsequently served as a peacemaker between the two childhood friends until she allegedly inadvertently interfered in their match in SummerSlam in 2006, costing Mysterio the match. On the following SmackDown!, Vickie publicly sided with Chavo and smashed Mysterio in the back with a chair, causing Vickie to fall back in the process. The evil Vickie declared herself Chavo's business manager and Mysterio a "insignificant chapter" in her history on the September 1 SmackDown! In a Falls Count Anywhere match at No Mercy, Chavo lost to Mysterio. Rey Mysterio lost a "I Quit" match against Chavo on October 20, after Vickie's interference.

Chris Benoit became involved in the storyline on October 27, 2006. He tried to figure out what Vickie was doing with Eddie's estate while simultaneously defending the WWE United States Championship in a feud with Chavo. Chavo threw a daring sharpshooter at Survivor, causing Benoit to knock Vickie off the ring apron and on her head, prompting her to wear a neck brace and blame Benoit for "intentionally" hitting her. She was involved in a United States Championship match between Chavo and Benoit, causing Chavo to lose and Benoit to hold the trophy at the end of December. As a result, Chavo yelled, "If you want me to win the tournament, then keep getting me disqualified," before yelling Vickie over.

Kristal, the on-screen girlfriend of General Manager Theodore Long's, persuaded him to interview Guerrero for the job as his assistant in May 2007. Vickie was hired to do the job a week after the interview, and she was able to turn her head for the second time this week. Vickie served as SmackDown's interim general manager on June 29, which was on episode 29 of SmackDown! When Long was planning his wedding with Kristal, Kristal was the best. At Long and Kristal's "wedding," she was quickly named maid of honor. Long endured a kayfabe heart attack during his wedding to Kristal before they legally married on September 21 of SmackDown! Vickie McMahon appointed Vickie as the new General Manager of Viki the following week. She "punished" Edge for her role in the World Heavyweight Championship by making him the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship by a week's perspective, before revealing that she had started a romantic relationship with him and aided him in regaining the belt on November 23. Vickie recovered after that, and he did not recover. The Undertaker appeared and performed a Tombstone Piledriver on Vickie later in the night, as she was alone in the ring after seeing Edge bested by Batista. She returned on December 14 episode of SmackDown after being off-air for several weeks. Edge won the World Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon in a wheelchair, and he was able to win the World Heavyweight Championship in Armageddon.

She and her nephew Chavo, Edge, the team of Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, and later, Bam Neely, established La Familia in early 2008. Chavo's first appearance as part of the new group was to assist Chavo in winning the ECW Championship from CM Punk. Vickie interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship match between Edge and Rey Mysterio, allowing Edge to keep his title. Edge suggested Vickie, who accepted but Mysterio interrupted the performance. Vickie had helped Edge maintain his title for almost four months, but he eventually dropped the competition to The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIV. Edge and the Undertaker became a feud over this period, with Vickie giving Edge numerous title opportunities and placing the Undertaker in difficult matches. She stripped The Undertaker of his championship after deciding that his current gogoplata (also known as Hell's Gate) submission hold was too risky, resulting in a Tables, ladders, and chairs match at One Night Stand between The Undertaker and Edge for the vacant title, with the provision that if she lost, Undertaker would be banned from WWE if he lost. Edge defeated the match and the World Heavyweight Championship, while Vickie 'banished' Undertaker after interference. On the June 30 episode of Raw, Edge dropped his title to CM Punk shortly afterwards. Edge took his frustrations for losing the World Heavyweight Championship out on Vickie by informing her that the wedding was postponed on July 4. Edge re-proposed to Vickie after SmackDown had been off the air for the next week, but not before.

On the 18th episode of SmackDown (the wedding had taken place off-screen before the show) Triple H came out and showed a video of Edge cheating on Vickie the day before, as the wedding planner, Alicia Fox, came out and showed a video of Edge cheating on Vickie the day before. As Fox continued to attempt to give Edge the WWE Championship belt to use as a weapon, Vickie's clothingline was blocked. Edge tried to spear the referee to postpone the match but Vickie was instead struck. Triple H used this distraction to heal, defeating a Pedigree in order to keep his title. Edge begged Vickie to forgive him on the day's SmackDown episode, but instead she revealed the return of his long adversary, The Undertaker, who Edge would face in a Cell match in SummerSlam, transforming her into a face in the process. Edge tipped Vickie from her wheelchair a few weeks later as revenge for her son's La Familia. The Undertaker refused to honor her suspension for his banishment, but Vickie said she was not afraid of him. She also said that at Unforgiven, she would force him to apologize to her, but at Unforgiven, when the Undertaker did not comply, she knocked him out and Vickie spat in his face, turning heel once more. The Big Show stayed with Vickie for the next two weeks, gloating over how they beat The Undertaker. Vickie pleaded with Undertaker for pardon for her defiance after Undertaker assaulted Chavo. Vickie was again struck by the Undertaker, who had to rely on both a neckbrace and a wheelchair. Vickie placed the Undertaker in matches against the Big Show, which was impossible for him to win over the following weeks. Big Show lost to Undertaker in a casket match at Survivor Series, bringing the feud to a halt.

Vickie came out to the arena to announce that "he's here." During a match for the WWE Championship between the champion Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov, Vickie came out to the arena. Edge's music was on the radio and he had come out to compete, making it a triple threat match. Edge won the championship, and he greeted Vickie with a hug as he rushed to the back. On the December 5 episode of SmackDown, they shared a kiss, restating their on-screen love. Vickie and Edge were given a Slammy Award for Couple of the Year on the December 8 episode of Raw.

During Stephanie McMahon's absence, she was named interim General Manager of Raw on February 23, 2009. Guerrero revealed on Raw that Edge will be competing in the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 25. Vickie cheating on Edge with Big Show was shown on a replay of Guerrero's reveal of the unexplained match by blackmail, making it a triple threat in the process. Edge of the World Heavyweight Championship to Cena was lost to Cena after Cena pinned the Big Show on the Big Show, according to Cena. Guerrero was given the option of either being General Manager of Raw or SmackDown on the Raw Sixteen episode of Raw on April 6th. She then announced that she would return to Raw to become the company's new General Manager, which resulted in her being cut from Edge. During the 2009 WWE Draft and Supplemental Draft, however, Big Show and her nephew Chavo were both shifted to Raw.

Vickie, Vickie, with the support of William Regal, gained the "Miss WrestleMania" crown from Santina Marella, Santino's "twin sister," in a No Disqualification match sanctioned by Chavo on the May 18 episode of Raw, after being insulted for a few weeks for a few weeks because of her weight by Santino Marella, Vickie's "twin sister" to be honoured by Chavo. Vickie lost the "Miss WrestleMania" crown to Santina in a hog pen match with Chavo on June 7 at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Vickie resigned as Raw's General Manager after a night on Raw. Edge came out and told Vickie that he regretted saying disrespectful things about her, but that she later remarried her so she could assist him in World Championship matches, and that, now that she has resigned, she was unhelpful to him. Vickie was then told he wanted a divorce, which resulted in her suffering from a nervous breakdown. Vickie had intended to leave WWE so she could spend more time with her family.

Guerrero returned to WWE for the 10th Anniversary special episode on October 2, where she introduced her storyline partner, Eric Escobar, who will be in charge of the SmackDown brand. Guerrero was appointed as a SmackDown consultant by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon on November 20. Vickie and Escobar's relationship ended last week after Escobar failed to win the Intercontinental title from John Morrison. Escobar denied that he could not take it any longer, insisting that he only went out for power after she was fired for life, mirroring Edge's assertion as to why he married Vickie on the June 8 episode of Raw. Guerrero then placed him in a handicap match with The Hart Dynasty the following week, and the following week, he was in another handicap match against Chris Jericho and Big Show. When Escobar was first announced by WWE, the storyline was quickly ended.

Guerrero began to participate in the already tense rivalry between WWE Women's Champion Mickie James and Michelle McCool and Layla after Mickie mistakenly doused her with cottage cheese on the February 12 episode of SmackDown. Guerrero appeared as special guest referee for a championship match between James and McCool on February 26, costing James the title after slapping her. Michelle McCool, WWE Women's Champion Michelle McCool and Tiffany were involved in a match between WWE Women's Champion Michelle McCool and Tiffany, causing Tiffany to win by DQ two weeks later. McCool and Layla continued to beat down Tiffany until Beth Phoenix made the rescue, while still giving Vickie a clothesline. Guerrerro's two weeks later appeared in a 5-on-1 handicap match against Beth Phoenix, with Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Team LayCool. Guerrero mainly concealed behind Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Team LayCool, leaving her companions to do the dirty work until Phoenix was defeated, and Guerrero made the pin, winning the game. Guerrero's team won a 10-woman tag team competition at WrestleMania XXVI, when she climbed the turnbuckle and waved to the sky before completing a frog splash in honor of her late husband Eddie. Guerrero was named the permanent general manager of the Raw brand for the second time on the May 10 episode of Raw, but he resigned on the same night after being threatened by Randy Orton. Although not the general manager, Layla won the SmackDown as the Consultant on the May 14 episode, requiring Phoenix to face Team LayCool in a handicap competition, which was not the first WWE Women's Championship.

She began a romance romance with Dolph Ziggler in June and began accompanying him to the ring. Vickie will be the storyline mentor of Aloisia's all-female third season on the NXT episode on August 31. Aloisia was initially sent by WWE's developmental system to Florida Championship Wrestling, but later released. Vickie was assigned Kaitlyn, the show's new rookie, with whom she had conflicted with. Kaitlyn defeated her in a rookie versus pro match on October 5, a first-timer to show. Kaitlyn was caught on stage kissing Vickie's boyfriend, Ziggler, which ignited more fire. Kaitlyn went on to win NXT and later joined SmackDown.

After Theodore Long was discovered unconscious backstage, she became SmackDown's acting General Manager in January 2011. During Kelly Kelly's match against Guerrero during Ziggler's match with Edge at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Kelly Kelly sluggishly sluggish. Edge and Kelly lost in a two-on-three handicapped mixed tag match for the World Heavyweight Championship on February 4 on SmackDown, Ziggler and LayCool. Guerrero fired Kelly and announced a championship match between Edge and Ziggler, with her as the special guest referee of the match. While officiating the game, she attempted to spear Edge this week but she broke her ankle as part of the storyline. Edge won the match despite her injury, as Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers replaced her as referee, and she continued to win the game. Edge of the storyline was stripped of the character and shot in the storyline on SmackDown's 600th episode the following week. Later that night, Ziggler was crowned World Heavyweight Champion. However, returning Theodore Long said he was once more in charge and that Vickie and Ziggler were the perpetrators of his assault, resulting in an impromptu match between Ziggler and a resurgent Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship, which Edge defeated. Long fired Ziggler after the match. Long revealed on SmackDown's February 25 episode that Edge and Kelly Kelly will face Vickie and Drew McIntyre. Vickie lost the game and was then banned (kayfabe) from her consulting role by Long.

Vickie, who was in charge of the Raw, Guerrero, and Ziggler singles match over John Morrison, made his return to the brand on March 7 episode. The anonymous Raw General Manager told Vickie that Ziggler had been hired, but that they had not hired her yet. The general manager then continued to host a match against Trish Stratus for the following week, with the stipulation that if Vickie wins, she will be fired. Vickie defeated Trish in a No Disqualification match with the support of Team LayCool the following week. Guerrero defeated Stratus, Morrison, and Snooki, a Raw guest star who had slapped Guerrero earlier in the night, to a six-person mixed tag team match against LayCool and Ziggler, which they accepted. In a 4-on-2 handicap match against Stratus and Morrison on March 21, Raw, Guerrero, LayCool, and Ziggler lost to Stratus and Morrison. Vickie and Ziggler's LayCool and Ziggler team was defeated by Snooki, Stratus, and Morrison at WrestleMania XXVII. Stratus and Morrison beat WrestleMania on Raw, Vickie, and Ziggler on Raw, on Raw, Vickie and Ziggler.

Ziggler won the United States Championship from Kofi Kingston with the assistance of Guerrero at the Capitol Punishment pay-per-view. Ziggler retained the title from Kingston despite disqualification. Despite Cole's receiving the most boos later that night, Vickie lost a dance to Michael Cole later that night. Vickie defeated Kelly Kelly Kelly, the Divas Champion, on September 12 Raw, due to Ziggler vs. Jack Swagger. Jack Swagger, who had been looking for Vickie's services for weeks, convinced Vickie to sign a managerial deal on the September 19 Raw. Ziggler lost the United States Championship to Zack Ryder, who lost the title to Swagger on January 16, 2012, episode of Raw. Swagger lost the United States Championship to Santino Marella on March 5 Raw. Vickie ended her clientele service with Jack Swagger and revived her romantic love with Ziggler on June 18 episode of Raw.

After showing "evidence" to the WWE Board of Directors of AJ Lee "fraternizing" with a WWE wrestler, which was later revealed as John Cena, AJ Lee was asked to resign. Mr. McMahon, the current Raw Managing Supervisor, announced Guerrero on the show's October 22 episode. Guerrero beat AJ on December 10, according to Brad Maddox, who was the special referee for the match. Guerrero struggled to assist Dolph Ziggler in his ladder match against Cena until she was struck by AJ, who betrayed Cena and helped Ziggler win. Big E Langston interfered on Raw, Guerrero's teammate Cena's night to disqualify the new couple of Ziggler and AJ by disqualification.

Maddox was drafted as her assistant on the episode of Raw, Guerrero, where Maddox appeared on Team Brickie on February 18, 2013. Vickie delves into a storyline in mid-2013 where Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Triple H coerced her to raise the level of her authority. The fans did not vote in Vickie's favour on the July 8 episode of Raw after undergoing a work assessment, resulting in her dismissal by Stephanie McMahon. Vince McMahon tried to console her after and named Brad Maddox as the next General Manager.

Vince McMahon hired Guerrero as the new General Manager of SmackDown on July 19, the 19 episode of SmackDown. Guerrero told the fans that she feared each and every one of them, blaming them for her removal as Raw's Chief Supervisor. Vickie had Long escorted out by security after Maddox congratulated her, Guerrero slapped her, and in retribution for having security drag her out by Teddy Long's orders the week before, she was caught by security. Alberto Del Rio's win over John Cena in a Cell on October 7th was a surprise to her boss. Vickie argued with Kane and Brad Maddox over who should be in charge after this. Stephanie McMahon forced Guerrero to compete in a match against Divas Champion AJ Lee, which she lost on the November 18 episode of Raw. Guerrero compelled AJ to defend her Divas Championship in a 14-woman "Vickie Guerrero Invitational" at WrestleMania XXX on March 24, 2014, in a scene of Raw. Roman Reigns tried to convince Vickie to participate in the Bank pay-per-view battle, but the Authority refused to allow him to participate because the Bank wouldn't allow him to. Stephanie McMahon's brisk coffee prompted Stephanie to pull up Vickie and move with Triple H to the hospital. Reigns was denied a chance in the royal war, which he won. Vickie lost in a pudding fight against Stephanie McMahon with her job on the line on June 23 after Alicia Fox, Layla, and Rosa Mendes interfered. Vickie, who later lost the game and was fired as the show's general manager, retaliated against McMahon by throwing her into the mud pool and mouth; a nodulation to her late husband Eddie Guerrero's death, who performed his signature taunt as she left the stage for the first time since 2006. As she had requested her release a few months before, this was done to keep her off television.

Vickie returned to WWE as a villainess once more on July 4, 2016, announcing her intentions to become the WWE Brand Extension's next Chief Operating Officer" after the WWE Brand Extension was announced on July 19; however, two security guards led her out of the arena. Vickie was escorted out, but she didn't know her at all.

Guerrero made a surprise appearance at number 16 during the first women's Royal Rumble match in which Becky Lynch, Michelle McCool, Ruby Riott, & Sasha Banks defeated her in 57 seconds on January 28, 2018. She then attacked Carmella, who appeared at number 17, by pounding her with her Money in the Bank briefcase. On the 1000th episode of Smackdown, she appeared as a face a lame.

On December 11, 2019, she appeared as a guest commentator for All Elite Wrestling taping of AEW Dark Episode 11, which premiered on YouTube on December 17, 2019. According to Guerrero, this appearance caused WWE to "cut her off" her. Guerrero was named as Nyla Rose's boss on July 15, 2020, at Fight for the Fallen. Guerrero also announced Andrade El Idolo as her new client on June 4, 2021.
