Bull Nakano Career

Professional wrestling career

Nakano's career as a professional wrestler began in Japan's All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (AJW) group when she was 15 years old. Bull Nakano was changed to Bull Nakano after winning the AJW Junior Championship at the age of 16. She won the AJW Championship in 1985, which she held for three years. In the meantime, she teamed with Dump Matsumoto, who was also her mentor, as a pair of villains. Nakano won the WWWA World Tag Team Championship in August 1986 with Matsumoto as her companion. In 1986, Nakano and Matsumoto competed for the World Wrestling Federation against Velvet McIntyre and Dawn Marie Johnston's team.

Nakano won the WWWA World Tag Team Championship for the second and third time after Matsumoto's retirement, as well as Grizzly Iwamoto in 1988 and 1988. She won the 1988 Japan Grand Prix tournament in June as a singles wrestler. She defeated Mitsuko Nishiwaki to win the All Pacific Championship, which she lost to Noriyo Tateno in November one year back in June 1989. Nakano defeated the vacant WWWA World Single Championship a few months later in January 1990. She held the title for almost three years before deciding to Aja Kong in 1991. The use of Nakano in storylines and matches has since been reduced by AJW.

Nakano moved to Mexico in 1996, where she defeated Lola González to become the first World Women's Champion since she stopped working for AJW. In March 1993, she lost the title to Xóchitl Hamada.

She returned to the United States and competed for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) for the second time. Nakano competed against Alundra Blayze, the WWF Women's Champion, in August 1994 at SummerSlam but failed to win the competition. At the Big Egg Wrestling Universe tournament in Tokyo, Nakano eventually defeated Blayze for the title on November 20, 1994. Nakano ruled for about five months before losing it to Blayze on April 3, 1995, bringing her to a halt of 134 days. When Blayze underwent plastic surgery on her nose and breasts, Bertha Faye had intended on bringing him into contest with Nakano, the WWF was dismunized. But Nakano was found in possession of cocaine and quickly dismissed from the company.

Nakano was also on trip to North Korea in 1995, where she was part of the joint New Japan Pro-Wrestling (WCW) Collision in Pyongyang, which set a record for attendance at a professional wrestling tournament with 150,000 people. Nakano and Akira Hokuto defeated Manami Toyota and Mariko Yoshida at the tournament. She appeared at WCW's World War 3 pay-per-view tournament later this year, teaming with Akira Hokuto to defeat Team Cutie Suzuki and Mayumi Ozaki. Nakano, now known as Madusa, continued her feud with Blayze, who was then known as Madusa in August 1996; Madusa defeated Nakano in the match, but stipulation that she was then allowed to burn Nakano's motorcycle. Madusa referred to Nakano as a "good-hearted individual" and a "incredible talent" with whom she had some of her best matches in recent years.

Bull Nakano retired from professional wrestling in 1997 due to injuries. Nakano organized "Empress" on January 8, 2012, which saw her recreate her most famous matches with her old rivals. The galade came to an end with Nakano's formal retirement ceremony, but she had not been a professional wrestler for many years.

Bull Nakano, along with Cheerleader Melissa and Madusa, Nakano's former adversary, was revealed at Rise Wrestling's Bellatrix 26/Rise 4 event on September 15, 2017. During her appearance at Rise 6 on December 1, Nakano turned heel when she confronted Melissa during her match against Kikyo and created Gokumon-To, a modified version of her heel team, aligning with Kikyo, Dynamite DiDi, and Kris Wolf. In her match against Shotzi Blackheart (who had Madusa in her corner), Nakano appeared later in the game as a heel manager for Kris Wolf, as well as providing an interference that resulted in Wolf defeating Blackheart.

Golf career

In 1998, Nakano became a pro golfer. In November 2004, Nakano competed in the Futures Tour Qualifying Tournament in Florida, but the tournament ended in 25th place of 251. She finished the tournament in 261st place of 271. As a result, she was unable to qualify for the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). In January 2006, Nakano qualified for the LPGA and joined the Duramed Futures Tour, which later became a tour in the United States.

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 11, 2024
Ali died in 2016 and his widow, Lonnie Ali, will be inducted by his widow at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, ahead of WrestleMania 40. As the class of 2024 takes form, Ali joins Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, and the US Express. Ali, who is best known for his boxing prowess, microphone skills, and activism, has a following outside of sports. As he dabbled in pro wrestling on several occasions, the three-time world heavyweight champion is no stranger to the WWE. Ali appeared in a Tokyo exhibition with pro wrestling legend Antonio Inoki in 1976. Many believed that 'The War of the Worlds' was the first war in what became Mixed Martial Arts.'
