On the first televised victory on NXT, Banks' first televised victory on the NXT was against Alicia Fox on January 23, 2013. The bank entered a storyline when she heard letters from a long-lost admirer, who was later revealed to be Audrey Marie, who returned and attacked Banks on the February 20 episode of NXT due to Marie's jealousy of Banks' triumph. In a match later that day, Marie went on to defeat Banks. On the NXT episode of April 3rd, the bankers' feud with Marie came to an end, as Banks joined Paige to defeat Marie and Summer Rae. Banks participated in the NXT Women's Championship tournament on June 19 to determine the inaugural champion, but NXT lost in the first round to Rae.

Banks was defeated by the NXT Women's Champion Paige on the September 11 episode of NXT, after the latter tried to console her, resulting in Banks turning into a villainess. Banks defeated Bayley on NXT, then followed by Rae two weeks later. After the game, Banks stopped a match with Rae and unveiled a new one dubbed "The Boss." On the December 25 episode of NXT, where she was once more unsuccessful, the bankers rematch was a repeat. On the December 30, 2014 episode of Main Event, where she defeated Charlotte in a non-title match, the banks first appeared on WWE's main roster. Banks and Lynch also clashed against Charlotte on January 21, 2015. Despite being disqualified after Becky Lynch attacked Charlotte, the bank refused to qualify, resulting in disqualification of Banks and Lynch.

The NXT Women's Championship was won by Charlotte pinning Lynch and Bayley in a crucial four-way match on February 11 at NXT TakeOver. In a match between NXT and Charlotte on March 4, the bank retained the title against Charlotte and Alexa Bliss on March 25. Banks defended and retained the title against Becky Lynch, who was unstoppable at NXT Takeover: Banks were unstoppable on May 20, a massive performance. Banks partnered with Charlotte on July 8 to defeat Emma and Dana Brooke, which Charlotte challenged Banks to a NXT Women's Championship match that the Banks accepted. On the following week, they were matched again in NXT's July 15 episode, where the bankers retained the championship and the two friends shared a hug, with Charlotte raising Banks' hand in honor.

Banks withdrew the NXT Women's Championship to Bayley on August 22, putting the end of her reign at 192 days. Banks collaborated with Lynch and Charlotte, who were fighting with Paige (Alicia Fox, Brie, and Nikki Bella), but Banks later referred to them as Team B.A.D. (Beautiful and Dangerous), triggering a brawl between the three teams. Banks competed in a triple threat match against Charlotte and Brie Bella, which Charlotte won in her WWE pay-per-view debut on July 19 at Battleground. On a tag team match in which Banks partnered with Naomi for the first time and again in a singles match on July 27, the banks defeated Paige twice, first by submission on the July 20 episode of Raw. Banks competed in the first-ever Divas number one contender's Beat the Clock Challenge match against Nikki Bella by submission in a non-title match on the August 17 episode of Raw, in which she defeated Paige to a time limit draw and Charlotte was named the top contender. Following this, the Banks rekindled her rivalry with Paige, defeating her twice on the September 7 and 14 episodes of Raw. Despite losing in a crucial four-way match for Charlotte's Divas Championship in November, Banks did not pinned and began winning streak, defeating Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, and Becky Lynch on several shows.

Banks returned to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 24, 2016, demonstrating her determination to win the Divas Championship after a month off television. Banks declared that she was "on her own" before going on from Team B.A.D. to being targeted by Naomi and Tamina during the match, turning Banks into a fan favorite in the process. The feud between Banks and Naomi and Tamina raged on February, resulting in a tag team match at Fastlane on February 21, where Banks allied with Lynch to defeat the two competitors. Both banks and Lynch went on to compete in two games to determine the number one contender for Charlotte's Divas Championship, with the first bout ending in a draw after both of their shoulders were down for the count, and the second in a no contest after Charlotte defeating both Banks and Lynch. As a result, the Divas Championship, a triple threat match between Banks, Lynch, and Charlotte, was announced for WrestleMania. The Divas Championship was withdrawn and replaced with the new WWE Women's Championship at the tournament on April 3, with all three women competing in the triple threat competition; Banks was unsuccessful in winning the new title at her WrestleMania debut.

After a hiatus, Banks returned to WWE television in early June and reignited her feud with Charlotte over the WWE Women's Championship, which culminated in a confrontation with Paige on the WWE Women's Championship on June 20. On the following week's Raw episode, where Banks and Paige defeated Banks and Paige, leading to a tag team match. Banks and Dana Brooke, Banks, and her mystery partner Bayley defeated Brooke and Charlotte in a tag team match on July 24 at Battleground, after multiple attacks and matches.

Banks made her first appearance for the brand on July 25, 2016, when she defeated Charlotte to win the WWE Women's Championship for the first time after being drafted to the Raw brand as part of the 2016 WWE draft. SummerSlam, Banks, a bank in SummerSlam, Banks, moved the title to Charlotte on August 21, bringing her to an end of 27 days. Following the establishment of the SmackDown Women's Championship, the event was renamed the Raw Women's Championship around the time. Charlotte retained the title against Banks and Bayley in a triple threat match at Battle of Champions on September 25. On the October 3 episode of Raw, where she defeated Charlotte in the main event to win her second Raw Women's Championship, the bankers were able to match one-on-one. On October 30, Banks defeated Charlotte to face Hell in the first ever women's Hell in a Cell match, which was then confirmed as the main event of a Cell pay-per-view tournament in WWE, making it the first time women had been denied the last match of a pay-per-view card in WWE. Charlotte defeated Banks, effectively ending her reign at 27 days. Banks was part of Raw's women's team for Survivor Series, which culminated in her demise by Natalya, but Team Raw was ultimately victorious. Banks defeated Charlotte in a falls count anywhere match to win the Raw Women's Championship for the third time on November 28. On December 18, a 30-minute Iron man match between the two teams culminated in a 2–2 draw, but banks lost to Flair 3–2 in sudden death overtime. With the loss, the feud between the two teams came to an end, since it was agreed that bankers could not invoke her rematch provision if she lost.

After Roadblock, Banks called Flair out to congratulate her on her win, Nia Jax came out and assaulted her, the next night on Raw. This resulted in a match between the two teams on January 29, 2017, where Banks was defeated. Banks helped Bayley beat Charlotte Flair to win the Raw Women's Championship in the main event on February 13, after she stopped Flair's submission and struck her with crutches. On March 5, the bank retaliated against Jax by defeating her at Fastlane, giving Nia her first loss since being on the main roster. Bayley's bank helped Bayley beat Flair in order to maintain her championship. The feud between Banks and Jax, as well as Bayley and Flair, culminated in a deadly four-way elimination match at WrestleMania 33, where Bayley retained the Raw Women's Championship.

Banks won over Bayley, Jax, Dana Brooke, Mickie James, and Emma in a gauntlet match on June 26, becoming the top contender for Alexa Bliss' Raw Women's Championship. Banks won their title match at Great Balls of Fire on July 9, where she defeated Bliss by count-out, allowing Bliss to keep the title. Banks beat Bliss on August 20 in a rematch between the two teams on August 20 in a rematch between the two teams, becoming the first-time Raw Women's champion. On Raw, the bank changed the title back to Bliss. Banks rematch for the title at No Mercy on September 24, Banks rematch after being defeated by Bliss in a crucial five-way match.

The bank's founders, John Aston, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville, along with Bayley and Mickie James, started a feud with Absolution (Paige, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville), who have repeatedly assaulted them on various occasions. That resulted in various singles and tag team matches, many of which were mainly won by Absolution. Banks competed in the first-ever women's match in the Middle East in December, beating Alexa Bliss. Victoriakie Guerrero, Bayley, and Trish Stratus, who were first in the first Women's Royal Rumble match, were disqualified by the Bella Twins on January 28, 2018. A few weeks later, Banks participated in the first-ever women's Elimination Chamber match at the namesake pay-per-view, where she assisted Alexa Bliss, the eventual champion, to ban Bayley from the game after she "apparently" collaborating together to ban Bliss from the match.

They returnedstage and were compelled to separate on the March 26 episode of Raw, which included Bayley betraying Banks during their matches. In mid-April, banks and Bayley clashed, but the Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, and Liv Morgan) intervened and assaulted them both, resulting in a no-contest. In the ensuing weeks, banks participated in various singles and tag team tournaments, both winning and losing. Banks competed in a Money in the Bank ladder competition in June, after defeating Ruby Riott in the finals of a gauntlet match for the last time, but she was ultimately defeated by Alexa Bliss. Around mid-2018, when Banks and Bayley continued to lash out each other, they were encouraged to attend counsellor meetings to help maintain their friendship. In July, the two reconciled and formed "The Boss 'N' Hug Connection" tag team.

Banks returned to WWE television in October and competed in the first-ever all women's pay-per-view Evolution, where she teamed with Bayley and Natalya in a thrilling match against The Riott Squad after a brief absence from the ring due to an undisclosed injury. Banks played again in November at Survivor Series as part of Team Raw, where she was the last woman from Team Raw after she was fired by Asuka after an assault by teammate Nia Jax. Banks defeated Ronda Rousey in the Raw Women's Championship on January 27, 2019. Banks suffered a broken shoulder during the match against Rousey.

The Elimination Chamber, Banks and Bayley captured the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Championship by beating Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a six tag team Elimination Chamber match on February 17, 2017. Banks and Bayley successfully secured over Nia Jax and Tamina, at Fastlane, in their first title defense on March 10. After Kay pinned Bayley, ending their reign at 49 days, at WrestleMania 35, Banks and Bayley lost the championship to The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce).

Banks postponed their appearance on the morning talk show Wendy at the last minute. During the following week, rumors from dirt sheets grew that she was planning to leave the company due to her long-running problems with WWE. With the two allegedly not being told until the last minute that they will be losing the titles at WrestleMania, the bankers assumed that she and Bayley would have a long championship reign to bring credibility to the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Her talk show cancellation was attributed to a personal circumstance. She pleaded for her release from Vince McMahon as she had been dealing with depression. Although McMahon denied her request, Banks was able to rethink her career.

After a four-month absence, bankers on the August 12 episode of Raw as a heel. Banks recovered in September with then SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley, when the former turned heel, and the two attacked Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Banks reignited her rivalry with Lynch on her return to Lynch, which culminated in a match between the two teams at Battle of Champions for Lynch's Raw Women's Championship on September 15. Banks won by disqualification after Lynch inadvertently attacked the referee with a steel chair, and the two teams continued to brawl inside the stadium. The feud between the two women culminated in the second-ever women's Hell in a Cell match, which culminated in Banks' inability in winning the title.

As part of the 2019 draft, banks were introduced to the SmackDown brand. Due to injury to injuring her tailbone, banks were unable to participate for another brief period of television. On October 18, however, the banks did not come to SmackDown as Bayley was being interviewed by The Miz. Banks debuted a new remixed theme starring her cousin Snoop Dogg on SmackDown's episode on November 8. Banks would be the captain of the SmackDown women's team, which leads into Survivor Series. Banks was the last woman standing for the SmackDown brand in the Women's Survivor Series match at the pay-per-view, but Team NXT's Rhea Ripley was the only woman wearing the SmackDown brand at the pay-per-view, but Team NXT's Rhea Ripley was the first woman to represent the SmackDown brand.

Banks was a fan favorite to win the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble match, but she was ruled out of the tournament and several episodes of SmackDown before it, fueling rumors that she had sustained an injury. The camera panned to Bayley and Lacey Evans in a brawl on January 17, when which Banks was on the floor, during which Banks was present. The two players had been scheduled to meet Evans later in the night, but Bayley had to be recalled by Bayley after a segment in the doctor's office depicting a kayfabe injured Banks. Banks made her return to SmackDown on February 28 by attacking Naomi, Bayley's adversary. Paige, who had been supposed to meet the latter last week but was unable to attend due to travel issues, was interrupted on the 20th episode of SmackDown, Banks and Bayley on March 20. Paige announced a six-way elimination match (later revealed it as a fatal five-way match at WrestleMania 36, in which Banks was embedded) during the segment. Bayley retained the title with the help of Banks during the case.

Banks and Bayley will both be teased about a potential feud between the two teams, with the emphasis being placed on the fact that Banks is the primary reason for Bayley's success and Bayley is blamed for the bulk of Banks' losses. Despite the ongoing feud, Banks and Bayley regained the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on June 5 by defeating Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Bliss and Cross, Shotzi Blackheart, Tegan Nox, The IIconics, and the Kabuki Warriors were among their supporters against various teams, including Bliss and Cross, Bliss and Cross, Bliss and Peyton Royce (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce), and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane).

Banks defeated Asuka for the Raw Women's Championship on July 19, a match that sparked controversy after Asuka inadvertently spat white mist in the referee's face. Bayley won the title after removing the referee's shirt and counting the pin for Banks. After Asuka left the ring to rescue her tag team partner Kairi Sane, who had been targeted backstage by Bayley, on the July 27 episode of Raw, Banks eventually captured the title for a record-breaking fifth time. Banks and Bayley won the first female tag team — and fifth overall — to compete for singles and tag team titles simultaneously. Asuka and Banks continued their feud in August, which culminated in a championship match between the Banks and Asuka on August 23, where the Raw Women's Championship was returned to Asuka. Banks and Bayley lost the Women's Tag Team Championship to Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler on August 30, at the Payback event.

Bayley turned on Banks after losing a rematch to Jax and Baszler, causing the latter to face Banks for brutally attacking her in the ring, effectively ending the game and dissolving their team. After battling and cutting promos on each other, the two teams faced off in a title match on October 9 of SmackDown, which Banks won via disqualification after Bayley struck her with a steel chair, resulting in the former holding her position. The feud between the two teams culminated in a Hell in a Cell match at the eponymous pay-per-view, where Banks submitted Bayley to win the SmackDown Women's Championship for the first time in her career. Banks became the third Women's Grand Slam and fourth Triple Crown Champion with the victory. Banks defeated Bayley in a SmackDown Women's Championship rematch on November 6 to keep the title, snaping her drought of poor defenses with a main roster singles title. Carmella hit Banks immediately after the match, igniting a feud between the two sides. Following weeks of criticism from both the former and the latter, the two will sign a deal for a championship match at the TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view on December 11 of SmackDown. Banks then proceeded to challenge Carmella to a title match that would be held later this night, which Carmella accepted. Banks were disqualified at the conclusion of the competition, thus holding her position. At the TLC: Tables, Chairs, December 20, Banks defeated Carmella by submission to keep the SmackDown Women's Championship intact. Banks defeated former Cirque du Soleil performer Reginald, who served as Carmella's kayfabe sommelier, in the first intergender wrestling match to have aired on WWE television since 2017.

Banks defeated Carmella in a rematch between TLC and retain the SmackDown Women's Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 31, allowing the bank to maintain the SmackDown Women's Championship. Bianca Belair would win the Women's Royal Rumble match later in the night, giving her the opportunity to challenge for a women's crown of her choice at WrestleMania 37. Banks and Belair will continue to build up to the reveal of Belair's opponent of choice on SmackDown, up until the SmackDown episode, when Belair officially announced a battle against Banks. The two teams would compete against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at the Elimination Chamber and Fastlane pay-per-view tournaments over the next month, but they were unable to compete. WWE revealed on April 9 that the match between Banks and Belair would be the first match in the company's history, marking the first time in the company's history that two African-American women will face each other in a marquee match. In addition, the two African-American wrestlers in WrestleMania history were the first African-American wrestlers to face each other in the main event of the tournament. After being struck with the KOD, the second's finisher, at the tournament, Banks dropped the SmackDown Women's Championship to Belair.

Banks returned to save Bianca Belair from Carmella and Zelina Vega on the 30th episode of SmackDown, ostensibly in a face role. However, Banks ambushed Belair from behind after working with Belair to defeat the team of Carmella and Vega in the show's key event, prompting the bank to retaliate once more. Belair said, following a Banks promo this week, that "if [Banks] wants the title, it's on," thereby confirming the match between the two teams at SummerSlam. During the week leading up to the disaster, however, Banks and Belair were barred from several house shows due to "unforeseen circumstances." Despite arguing that both wrestlers were allowed to compete during the days leading up to SummerSlam, Banks were eventually barred from the tournament. Becky Lynch, a returning Becky Lynch, was deputized in turn by Belair, who went on to win the SmackDown Women's Championship. Banks made her second return to the year by ambushing Lynch and Belair in the middle of their SummerSlam rematch, resulting in disqualification. In October, a triple threat match between the three women for the SmackDown Women's Championship had been scheduled for the Crown Jewel event, where Banks was unsuccessful in regaining the trophy. On the October 29 episode of SmackDown, she will reprised her appearance on SmackDown. Banks was captain of the SmackDown women's team in November, where she was dismissed by countout due to her teammates' interference.

During a house show match against Charlotte Flair on January 2, 2022, Banks sustained a calcaneus injury. On January 28, she would make her return to SmackDown, where she announced for the Royal Rumble match. At the namesake function, banks descended Melina and Kelly Kelly, excluding Melina and Kelly Kelly before being banned by Queen Zelina. Naomi announced on SmackDown's February 25 that she and Banks would compete for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Banks and Naomi defeated reigning champions Carmella and Queen Zelina, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, and Natalya and Shayna Baszler to become the current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions on WrestleMania 38 Night 2: Banks and Naomi, along with Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, to be the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

After a meeting with Vince McMahon due to a creative conflict during the May 16 episode of Raw, Banks, and Naomi, reportedly walked out on WWE after a meeting with him. According to WWE's official statement, the two "stepped into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis' office with their suitcases in hand, displayed their tag team championship belts on his desk, and walked out." Both were originally scheduled for the show's main event, but it had to be rescheduled. Banks and Naomi had been suspended indefinitely, presumably vacating the titles on the following episode of SmackDown.
