Sung Dong-il Life

Sung Dong-il (born April 27, 1967) is a South Korean actor.

Sung made his acting debut in 1987 and was later recruited into the 1991 SBS open talent auditions.

He rose to prominence as the comedic, Jeolla dialect-speaking character in the television drama "Eun-shil," although he later attempted to combat typecasting by portraying the son of a chaebol tycoon in Love In 3 Colors and a university professor in March.

Sung's film career was ignited by hit romantic comedy 200 Pounds Beauty in 2006.

He went on to be one of Korea's most reliable supporting actors, demonstrating his comedic chops and natural charisma in films including Take Off, Foxy Festival, Children, and The Client.

Mr. XX-Kisser, 3D blockbuster Mr. Go, and mystery-comedy The Accidental Detective were all involved in The Suck Up Project, including Mr. XX-Kisser.

Sung's humble father, Joe, and his son Joon appeared in Dad on a small screen, and in Reply 1997 and its spin-offs, Sung and his son Joon gained a new surge of fame in 2013. Where Are We Going?, a reality/variety series starring five male stars and their children on camping trips; Bin's daughter was also on the show for the second season.
