Fergie studied dance and began doing voiceover work, including Sally Brown (1984) and Snoopy's Getting Married (1985), as well as four episodes of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show. She appeared on Kids Incorporated from 1984 to 1989 and was the longest serving cast member; she appeared in the first six seasons of the show. Fergie was a member of the Female Orchid group, which she fronted with Stefanie Ridel and Renee Sandstrom, a fellow Kid Incorporated actor.
