Olga Korsak (born in Riga, Latvia) is a former Latvian figure skater and now a writer and singer/songwriter who lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
She is the 2006-2007 Latvian National Champion, as well as winning gold in 2004-2005 and bronze in 2002-2003. Olga sustained a back injury when attempting to qualify for the World Figure Championships in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 2006.
Not only was she ranked 21st in her qualification group at the time (a top-15 result was required), but her injury led her to a withdrawal from figure skating. She moved to Toronto in October 2009 to fulfill her dream of becoming an actor and singer/songwriter after graduating from the Latvian Academy of Sports Education with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance Stage Production & Fitness.
In 2014, LIVVA's debut album, Behind Closed Doors, was released in Canada, and she appeared in Junga Song's film The Petrichor (which also included the 2015 Junior, 2016 and 2017 Olympic silver medalist Evgenia Medvedeva in a cameo).
As a nod to her short-lived figure skating career, the film follows a woman from a retired figure skater who decides to resume her skating career in her late teens.
