Jeff Hardy Life

Jeffrey Nero Hardy (born August 31, 1977) is an American professional wrestler, singer-songwriter, painter, guitarist, and author.

He has recently signed WWE, where he appears on the SmackDown brand.

He is currently inactive due to a leg injury. Hardy is best known for his stints with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

He has also worked with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Ring of Honor (ROH), and several other companies on the independent circuit.

Jeff and his real life brother Matt performed and appeared for the Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts (OMEGA) before gaining fame in the WWE.

Both the Hardy brothers served as WWF enhancement specialists from 1994 to 1998 and then went back to full-time service.

They gained notoriety in the tag team division partly due to their participation in Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches.

With the addition of Lita, the team became "Team Xtreme" and began to grow in fame.

Jeff, alongside Matt, has competed in 12 world tag team championships from WWE, TNA, and ROH. Hardy has had success as a singles wrestler, winning his first of six world championships, the WWE Championship, in 2008, and then going on to hold WWE's World Heavyweight Championship twice and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship three times.

He has also won the Intercontinental Championship four times, the Hardcore Championship three times, and the European, Light Heavyweight, and the United States Championships once each.

He is the 18th Triple Crown Champion and 9th Grand Slam Champion in WWE history (one of five men to win both WWE Grand Slam formats and one of two men to win all original Grand Slam titles). Hardy is involved in motocross, jazz, painting, and other creative projects.

He is currently a member of PeroxWhy?Gen, a band in which he has released three studio albums and three extended plays.

Jeff, along with his brother Matt, co-wrote an autobiographical book of memoirs titled The Hardy Boyz in 2003.

Their book was a best seller in New York City, according to the Times.

Early life

Jeff Nero Hardy is the son of Gilbert and Ruby Moore Hardy's uncle, as well as Matt Hardy's younger brother. When Jeff Hardy was nine years old, their mother died of brain cancer in 1987. At the age of 12, he discovered an interest in motocross and bought his first bike, a Yamaha YZ-80. When he was in ninth grade, he had his first race. When he was young, Hardy played baseball, but he had to stop after collapsing during a motocross event, injuring his arm. He played football in high school as a fullback and linebacker. In high school, he competed in amateur wrestling for a short time. Since being ordered to choose between professional wrestling and football, he had to drop football in high school, and he's chosen wrestling. History and art were two of Hardy's favorite subjects in school, which he did for extra credit.

Personal life

In 1999, Hardy Boyz won the WWF Tag Team Championship for the first time. Beth Britt was introduced to him. The couple met at a Southern Pines, North Carolina, at a club. Hardy's house was reportedly raked to the ground in a fire on March 15, 2008. Leider and his partner Beth were not home at the time, but Jack, his dog, was killed in the fire. Hardy revealed in August 2010 that Britt was pregnant with the couple's first child, Ruby Claire Hardy, who was born on October 19, 2010. On March 9, 2011, Hardy and Britt married. Nera Quinn Hardy, the pair's second child, was born on December 31, 2015. Hardy has a tattoo of roots that starts on his head, behind his ear, and ends at his hand. He has a few other famous tattoos, one of which, a dragon, he stole from his father at a young age. It was also the first tattoo he had in 1998. He later got tattoos of the Chinese symbols for "Peace" and "Health," as well as tattoos of fire and a wave. Hardy revealed a new tattoo on his back on March 13, 2020. Hardy sees his tattoos as his "artistic impulses."

Hardy was arrested on September 11, 2009, on suspicion of controlled prescription pills trafficking and unlawful drug use, as well as a substantial amount of powder cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Hardy was sentenced to ten days in prison, 30 months of probation, and a fine of $100,000 on September 8, 2011. Hardy served his prison term from October 3 to 2011.

Hardy was arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on July 13, 2019 for public intoxication. Hardy was arrested and charged with driving while impaired in Moore County, North Carolina, on October 3 of the same year.

Hardy was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol agents on June 13, 2022, on charges of driving with a suspended license, breaching driving prohibitions placed on his license, preventing motorists from starting their cars after drinking alcohol in his car, as well as criminal DUI. At about 12:30 p.m. eastern time, a white vehicle was seen "swerving" and "running off the road," according to Florida highway patrol officers. They said they begged Hardy to hand over and they approached, but he looked lost, belligerent, and smelled of alcohol. According to the arrest report, Hardy did not finish any of the field sobriety tests the officers requested, and that he had a blood alcohol level of 0.291, well above Florida's legal threshold of 0.08. Hardy had been indefinitely on leave without compensation, and he would only be recalled to AEW on the condition that he completes alcohol rehabilitation program and "maintain his sobriety," according to a press release sent out on June 14.

Jeff Hardy Career

Professional wrestling career

Hardy, as well as his brother Matt and colleagues, formed the Trampoline Wrestling Federation (TWF) and imitated the television moves. Later on, the TWF went under several names before being integrated into a county fair in North Carolina. The brothers and their families then began to work for other independent businesses. They were all over the East Coast of the United States, working for companies such as ACW and other small promotions.

Jeff and Matt developed their own wrestling promotion before joining the WWF, the Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts (OMEGA) with Thomas Simpson. Shannon Moore, Gregory Helms, Joey Matthews, and Steve Corino were among the original TWF's top performers on the show, including both Hardy brothers, Shannon Moore, Gregory Helms, Steve Corino, and Steve Corino. Both of the brothers portrayed various characters in OMEGA; Hardy portrayed such characters as Willow the Wisp, Iceman, Mean Jimmy Jack Tomkins, and The Masked Peak. Although Hardy was there, Matt appeared in the New Frontier Championship (NFC) as a singles competitor and the Tag Team Championship (NFC). When they first signed WWF contracts in April 1998, the service was deactivated.

Hardy cites Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Sting, and Shawn Michaels as his childhood influences to wrestle. He started on World Wrestling Federation (WWF) television as a wrestler who consistently loses to make his opponents appear better. On May 23, 1994 in Youngstown, Ohio, Randy Savage proclaimed, "Welcome to the big time." Keith Davis, the night's ringname, was Razor's scheduled jobber who had backed out on short notice. Gary Sabaugh, who was with Davis and others, suggested he be seen by agent Tony Garea, who agreed after Hardy said he was 18 (he was really only 16). He wrestled under his real name against The 1–2–3 Kid the next day, and the match was broadcast on the Superstars' June 25 episode. As late as 1997, he occasionally fought as a jobber (including a match against Rob Van Dam on the ECW "invasion" storyline that featured Hardy as from Virginia rather than Cameron, North Carolina) before starting his first major run in 1998.

The Hardy brothers were eventually recognized by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). They were trained by Dory Funk Jr. in his Funkin' Dojo alongside other famous wrestlers such as Kurt Angle, Christian, Test, and A-Train after being signed to a deal in 1998. After months of "jobbing" and live performances, the team finally joined the Hardy Boyz, an acrobatic tag team. Michael Hayes was hired as their manager when feuding with The Brood in mid-1999. They won their first WWF Tag Team Championship on July 5, beating the Acolytes but lost it to them a month later. Following the dissolution of the Brood, the Hardys banded together with Gangrel as The New Brood and the feud with Edge and Christian emerged. The team did not last long, though the Hardy Boyz won the managerial services of Terri Runnels in the Terri Invitational Tournament's first ever tag team ladder match against Edge and Christian on October 17, 1999 at No Mercy. Edge & Christian won the first ever tag team triple threat ladder match against The Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian at WrestleMania 2000, where Edge & Christian triumphed. Hardy converted a Swanton Bomb to Bubba Ray Dudley off a 20-foot ladder during the match.

The Hardy Boyz found a new manager in 2000 in their close friend Lita. The three of them became "Team Xtreme" as a team. They fought Edge and Christian for the WWF Tag Team Championship twice during 2000, defeating them on two occasions. The Hardy Boysz participated in perhaps the most physically demanding match they had seen so far, the first ever Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match (TLC match) in Raleigh, Alabama, but were disqualified. Edge & Christian and the Dudley Boyz face off again in Houston, in what is regarded as one of the best matches in WWE history, but loses to the former.

Hardy gained notoriety for his high-risk stunts in the TLC series, including doing Swanton Bomb frontflips off the top steps of ten and 20 foot high ladders, making him one of the most unpredictable and unorthodox WWF players of his time. In 2001, Hardy earned a shot as a solos competitor, winning the Intercontinental (defeating Jerry Lynn), Light Heavyweight (defeating Jerry Lynn), and Hardcore Championships (defeating Mike Awesome and Van Dam on two occasions). The Hardys began a storyline in which they began to fight, culminating in Matt demanding a match in Vengeance with Lita as the special guest referee. Hardy beat Matt by pinfall at Vengeance, though Matt's foot was on the ropes, Hardy and Lita began feuding against Matt. Hardy defeated Undertaker in a Hardcore Championship match and lost, but in the middle of the feud. The Undertaker was scripted to strike both Hardy and Lita after the match, injuring them. In the storyline, the Undertaker attacked Matt as well as injuring him. The Hardys and Lita were not seen again until the Royal Rumble, because WWF didn't have another storyline for their characters. The Hardys returned as a team, but there was never mention of their previous storyline break.

After Lesnar gave Matt an F-5 on the steel entrance ramp, the Hardy Boyz began a feud with Brock Lesnar in early April 2002, which resulted in an enraged Hardy Boyz demanding revenge on Lesnar. In Lesnar's first televised match, the two teams faced off against Lesnar in Backlash. Lesnar defeated Hardy and took the match by knockout. Lesnar and the Hardys continued to feud over the next few weeks, with the Hardys winning only by disqualification. Lesnar had the upper hand on the Hardy Boys before tagging his partner, Paul Heyman, to win the team's victory. Hardy claimed his third Hardcore Championship in July 2002 by defeating Bradshaw.

In a ladder match for the WWE Undisputed Championship after years in the tag team division, Hardy faced The Undertaker. Hardy fell short of the match, but earned The Undertaker's respect when he tried to get to his feet after the bout and challenge The Undertaker to continue. On several occasions, Hardy competed for singles titles, beating William Regal for the European Championships. Rob Van Dam defeated Hardy in a ladder match to unify the European Championship and the Intercontinental Championship a few weeks later, and the European Championship was suspended. Matt left Raw and his brother in the hopes of finding his singles talent, according to Stephanie McMahon's SmackDown, as Hardy continued to pursue his singles dreams on Raw and his brother's fates. brand new product. On Raw, Hardy will compete in WWE's Hardcore division until the title's unification with the Intercontinental Championship.

Hardy was working with Rob Van Dam and Bubba Ray Dudley in late 2002. In a six-man elimination table match, he, Bubba Ray, and Spike Dudley defeated 3-Minute Warning at Survivor Series.

After being stabbed by Van Dam and Shawn Michaels in January 2003, Hardy briefly turned into a heel (villain). It came a month later when Billy Saved Stacy Keibler from a fire by then-villain Christian. He had a brief association with Michaels in February, which culminated in the team's victory. Hardy began dating Trish Stratus after rescuing her from Steven Richards and Victoria in March. The two characters appeared backstage and joined together in matches for a brief period of on-screen interaction between Hardy and Stratus. In his last game (his first appearance) against The Rock, Hardy lost. Hardy was fired from WWE on April 22, 2003. Hardy's erratic conduct, opioid use, refusal to go to rehab, demise of ringing, constant lateness, and no-showing cases were among the reasons for the suspension. "burn out" and the desire for time off were also cited as reasons for leaving WWE.

Hardy made his first wrestling appearance after being drafted by WWE during a show for the promotion of OMEGA on May 24, 2003. In a match for the OMEGA Cruiserweight Championship in which he was disqualified, he used his old gimmick, "Willow the Wisp," and confronted Krazy K.

He appeared on Ring of Honor (ROH) at the event Death Before Dishonour (ROH), wearing a mask and a trench coat this year. Willow was a champion and returned his jacket during the match, but he was quickly unveiled and missing his jacket as he wore in WWE. He was booed before, during, and after the ROH audience's chanting of "We want Matt!"

and "You got fired!

"Italian people are incredibly wealthy."

In a match against A.J., Hardy debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) on June 23, 2004 at the Second Anniversary Show. Styles for the TNA X Division Championship. "Modest," a song performed by Hardy himself, as well as "The Charismatic Enigma," were also introduced by the singer. When Kid Kash and Dallas interfered, the match came to a no contest. Hardy returned to TNA on July 21 and was granted a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championships. On September 8, Hardy defeated Nelson Jarrett, the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He won a tournament in October 2004, taking home a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in Victory Road, TNA's first monthly pay-per-view. In a ladder match at Victory Road involving Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, Hardy was defeated by Jartt once more.

Jarrett, Hall, and Nash were defeated by Turning Point, Hardy, Styles, and Randy Savage, who were collectively known as the Kings of Wrestling. Hardy defeated Hall in a singles match, substituting for Héctor Garza at Final Resolution on January 16, 2005.

In a "Full Metal Mayhem" match for the number one contender in the NWA World Heavyweight Championships, Hardy defeated Abyss in February 2005. In a Falls Count Anywhere match at Destination X in March, Hardy returned the favor by defeating Abyss. Hardy partnered with Shocker to defeat David Young and Lex Lovett on March 25, 2005. In a Six teams of steel match at Lockdown in April, Hardy went on to feud with Raven, while Raven defeated Raven. Hardy was banned from TNA after no-showing his "Clockwork Orange House of Fun" match against Raven at Hard Justice on May 15, reportedly due to travel difficulties. Hardy's suspension was lifted on August 5 and he returned to Sacrifice a week later, kicking Jeff Jarrette.

On September 11, he wrestled his first TNA match in four months at Unbreakable, losing to Bobby Roode after Jarrett interfered. During October 2005, Hardy became embroiled in a feud with Abyss, Rhino, and Sabu. On October 23, the four-way feud came to an end in a Monster's Ball match in Bound for Glory, which Rhino won after delivering a second rope Rhino Driver to Hardy. Hardy delivered a Swanton Bomb to Abyss during the match from a height of about 22 ft 0 (6.71 m). Hardy was ranked number one in the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, which Rhino also won later that night. In another number one contender match at Genesis in November, Hardy defeated Monty Brown in another top-two match.

In December 2005, Hardy had been due to fight on the pre-show of Turning Point, but the event was postponed once more, citing travel difficulties. As a result, Hardy was banned from attending TNA television again, and he did not appear on TNA television again. Hardy appeared on several live events sponsored by TNA in association with Dave Hebner and the United Wrestling Federation in March, April, and May 2006. In June 2006, Hardy was fired from his TNA service.

Hardy had resigned with WWE on August 4, 2006. Vignettes aired in the weeks after he aired on Raw's August 21 episode. Hardy confronted then WWE Champion Edge on the day of his return before an altercation that ensued when Lita pulled Edge out of the match, blocking Hardy from dropping a Swanton Bomb. Hardy finally defeated Nitro in his second Intercontinental Championship after struggling to capture the Intercontinental Championship from Johnny Nitro over the next few weeks, including at Unforgiven. After Nitro struck him with the Intercontinental Championship belt belt, Hardy lost the Intercontinental Championship back to Nitro on November 6 on Raw. With a crucifix pin on the November 13 episode of Raw, one week later, Hardy recovered it on the November 13 episode of Raw. This was Hardy's third time as Intercontinental Champion.

Hardy teamed with his brother, Matt, on a November 21 episode of ECW for the first time in four years to defeat the Full Blooded Italians. They were all part of Team D-Generation X, which gained the victory over Team Rated-RKO with a clean sweep at Survivor Series. The brothers then had their first opportunity since Hardy's return to win a tag team championship at Armageddon. They were in a four-team ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championship, but they fell short in their attempt. However, they inadvertently injured Joey Mercury's face during the game.

When Hardy was still rivalring with Johnny Nitro and other MNM employees into 2007, he was reportedly defeated by Nitro once more in a steel cage match for the Intercontinental Championships at New Year's Revolution. Nitro was defeated by Hardy once more. At both the Royal Rumble and No Way Out pay-per-views, Hardy and Matt team up with Matt to defeat MNM. On the next night, Raw, Hardy's February 19 episode lost the Intercontinental Championship to Umaga. In April 2007, Hardy defeated WrestleMania 23 in the Money in the Bank ladder competition. Matt threw Edge onto a ladder and told Hardy, who was close to the winning briefcase, to finish Edge off. Hardy pushed Edge through the ladder with a leg drop, injuring both Edge and himself. The two players were unable to continue the match and were banned from ringside on stretchers.

The Hardys participated in a 10-team battle royal for the World Tag Team Championship on the night after WrestleMania on April 2nd. They took the titles from then WWE Champion John Cena and Shawn Michaels by then eliminating Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. They then began a feud with Cade and Murdoch, with the Hardys retaining the Championship in their first title defense against them at Backlash and again on Judgment Day. In a Ladder match at One Night Stand, the Hardys defended their titles against the World's Best Tag Team. However, the Hardys lost the championships to Cade and Murdoch the next night, owing to injuries sustained in the previous night's ladder match. At Vengeance: Night of Champions, the Hardys received a rematch but were disqualified.

Hardy was unexpectedly dropped from WWE television in the middle of rivalry with Umaga, who beat Hardy at The Great American Bash in late July to hold the Intercontinental Championship. On his own website and in the forums of TheHardyShow.com, he said it was time to recover after a humiliating fall in a match against Mr. Kennedy on the July 23 episode of Raw. After Umaga interfered, he returned to Raw on August 27 after defeating Kennedy by disqualification. Hardy won his fourth Intercontinental Championship by defeating Umaga the next week.

This was the start of a Hardy fight, and the last two men remaining in the traditional elimination game were Hardy and Triple H. With Triple H, Hardy began an on and off tag team, resulting in a respectful rivalry between the two teams. When Hardy defeated Triple H to become the top contender for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble, the rivalry continued at Armageddon. In the weeks leading up to the Royal Rumble, Hardy and Randy Orton became involved in a personal feud, which began when Orton kicked Hardy's brother, Matt, in the storyline on the December 31 episode of Raw. On the January 14 episode of Raw, Hardy performed a Swanton Bomb on Orton from the top of the Raw set, and the pair seemed to have all the energy after being left at the top of the charts. Hardy, however, lost the title match at the Royal Rumble, but was named as one of six men to participate in the Raw Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, where he made it to the final two before being eliminated by Triple H, the eventual champion.

Hardy appeared on Chris Jericho's "Highlight Reel" segment on March 3 as a special guest, but ultimately targeted Jericho. The result resulted in an Intercontinental championship match on the next Raw, where Hardy dropped the title to Jericho. Hardy, an off-screen actor, has since been banned for sixty days, as of March 11, for his second breach of the company's Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy. After the suspension was revealed, Hardy was also barred from the Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania XXIV in which he was supposed to win. Hardy was back on Raw on May 12 after defeating Umaga. This reignited rivalry between the two teams, and the two teams met in a Falls Count Anywhere match that was unbeaten at One Night Stand, which Hardy won.

Hardy was drafted to the SmackDown brand as a member of the 2008 WWE draft on June 23, 2008. On the July 4 episode of SmackDown, Hardy made his debut for the brand by defeating John Morrison. At Unforgiven and also competing for the championship at No Mercy and Cyber Sunday, Hardy failed to win each time. He had been supposed to be in the WWE Championship match at Survivor Series but he was discovered unconscious in his hotel stairwell, allowing the returning Edge to replace him in the match and win the championship. Hardy defeated Edge and Triple H in a triple threat match for his first world championship at Armageddon.

Hardy's next scripted accidents, including a hit-and-run automobile accident and an accident involving his ring entrance pyrotechnics, were among his scripted accidents in January 2009. Hardy lost the WWE Championship to Edge after Hardy's brother, Matt, interfered and turned on Hardy, knocking him with a steel chair at the Royal Rumble. Matt implied that he was to blame for all of Hardy's injuries in the last few months, and Matt defeated Hardy in an Extreme Rules match and in a stretcher match on the April 10 episode of SmackDown. In a backlash match, Hardy defeated Matt in a "I Quit" match that brought an end to the feud.

Hardy won a deadly four-way elimination match to advance to the top-one contender for Edge's World Heavyweight Championship at Judgment Day, but Edge was defeated after Matt interfered and assaulted him. Hardy then defeated Edge in a non-title match on the next SmackDown to earn the right to choose the stipulation for their rematch at Extreme Rules and selected a ladder match. Hardy defeated Extreme Rules for the first time, becoming the World Heavyweight Champion for the first time. Immediately after the match, CM Punk threw in his Money in the Bank Briefcase and defeated Hardy to win the championship. On the June 15 episode of Raw, he received his rematch against Punk in a triple threat match involving Edge but not winning. With Punk kicking the ref in the back and feigning an eye injury, Hardy got another match at The Bash and won the match by disqualification. Punk kicked the ref in the back and feigning an eye injury, with Punk holding the trophy. Hardy defeated Punk to win the championship for the second time at Night of Champions. He started his title defense on SmackDown by defeating John Morrison five days later. Punk, who called a match back to rematch for the following week, where Hardy retained the title after he was the special guest enforcer. Punk also attacked Hardy after-match, resulting in Teddy Long's announcement of a Table, Ladders, and Chairs match between the two teams for the World Heavyweight Championship in SummerSlam. Hardy lost the title to Punk at SummerSlam. Hardy lost in a steel cage rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship on August 28 in a smackdown match for the World Heavyweight Championship, resulting in Hardy's withdrawal from WWE, according to the pre-match stipulation. This storyline was created to encourage Hardy to recover from his injuries, including a neck injury. Hardy had two herniated discs in his lower back and was also suffering from restless legs syndrome. Jeff Hardy's WWE deal came to an end this week, putting an end to the company's three-year tenure.

Team Hogan (Hardy, Abyss, Jeff Jarrett, and Rob Van Dam) defeated Team Flair (Sting, Desmond Wolfe, Robert Roode, and James Storm) at Lockdown. Hardy defeated Mr. Anderson at Sacrifice. Anderson was awessing face and then proceeded to convince the skeptical Hardy that he had changed, prompting them to form a tag team. In a tag team match, Slammiversary VIII, Hardy and Anderson, now known as Enigmatic Assholes, defeated Beer Money, Inc. (Robert Roode and James Storm).

The TNA World Heavyweight Championship was vacated on August 19 after Rob Van Dam was injured by Abyss after Abyss injured Rob Van Dam. In his first round match, Hardy was accepted into an eight-man tournament for the championship, defeating Rob Terry. Hardy first defeated Kurt Angle to a twenty-minute time-limit draw, which led to Eric Bischoff's order of a five-minute extension of time. Angle was unable to continue after that and a second five-minute extra time period ended in draws, and the game was declared in a no contest. After a drawn on the September 16 episode of Impact!, it was confirmed that Hardy and Angle will advance to the finals at Bound for Glory, where they will meet with Mr. Anderson in a three-way match.

For the first time, Hardy, Hogan and Eric Bischoff, and their assistance beat Angle and Anderson to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship for the first time. They were then joined by Jeff Jartt and Abyss, who revealed that Abyss had been referring to as "they" for many months. The stable on the following episode of Impact! was named Immortal because it had formed a partnership with Ric Flair's Fortune. In the meantime, Hardy introduced a new dark character, using cryptic messages to explain the reasons behind his appearance. Hardy defended his name in a defense against Matt Morgan, a replacement for Mr. Anderson who was hospitalized after suffering a concussion during an assault by Hardy. Hogan introduced Hardy with a new look at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, which he dubbed the TNA Immortal Championship. Hardy successfully defended the championship in a rematch against Morgan after incapacitating the special guest referee Mr. Anderson and having a replacement referee count. At Wrestle Kingdom V in Tokyo Dome, where he successfully defended the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Tetsu Naito, Hardy made his debut for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

Matt, Hardy's brother, made his TNA debut as a surprise guest of Immortal on January 9, defeating Rob Van Dam to stop him from receiving a match at Hardy's championship. Hardy gave Anderson a match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship the next night, right after Anderson's victory in a top-one contender's series. Anderson defeated Hardy for the championship despite Matt, Flair, and Bischoff's interference in the attempt to assist Hardy. Following Beer Money, Inc's interference, the Hardy Boyz reunited and defeated Anderson and Van Dam in a tag team match on January 13 of Impact! The remainder of Immortal interfered in the match, but Fortune brought Anderson's victory to an end. Hardy defeated Anderson in a ladder match on February 13 at Against All Odds, regaining the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Hardy captained the series for less than two weeks, first against Rob Van Dam against Rob Van Dam and then losing it to the returning Sting on February 24, during the March 3 episode of Impact! Hardy was rematch for the title under No Disqualification rules on March 13, but it was disqualified in nine seconds. Since finding that Hardy was too intoxicated to wrestle, TNA had to call the match short, TNA had to call off the match early. On September 15, Hardy wrestled his first match in six months, defeating Jeff Jarrett. Hardy defeated TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode by disqualification on January 8, 2012 at Genesis, and as a result, the title remained with Roode. Following Bully Ray's interference, a rematch between Hardy and Roode resulted in a no contest on the following episode of Impact Wrestling. Hardy was entered in a top-one contender's match against James Storm, which ended in a no contest due to interference from Ray and Roode. Hardy was unable to capture the TNA World Heavyweight Championship from Roode in a four-way match that also featured Bully Ray and James Storm on February 12 at Against All Odds. Matt's attempt was ineffective, and Jeff was forced to be Carter's assistant. Hardy quit as Carter's personal assistant and eventually (storyline) quitting TNA on the September 23 episode of Impact Wrestling, after refusing to hit Spud and then striking Carter with a Twist of Fate. Hardy will be the special guest referee in the three-way dance TNA World Heavyweight Championship match between Carter, Matt's brother, and Drew Galloway at Bound for Glory on September 30, TNA's Impact Wrestling. At the O2, WWE suffered with the worst injuries before going to Money in the Bank

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 24, 2023
The WWE is a stage fight with fake fighting and real injuries. 'Don't try this at home,' if anyone's ever watched a show live or on television.' There's a reason for that. Although wrestlers aren't aiming to hurt each other outright, they do it occasionally. Every time the performers step into the audience's entertainment, they put their bodies on the line, and it could go wrong. The promotion will conclude in England at the end of the month for its first Premium Live Event - or pay per view - in the country for 31 years, with Money in the Bank being held at the O2 Arena on July 1, the night after a SmackDown episode live from the same venue.
