Career
Littrell was instrumental in bringing a lawsuit against the group's founder, Lou Pearlman, in 1997, arguing that Pearlman had concealed information regarding the company's earnings. AJ McLean, Richardson, and Howie Dorough, three of the band's friends, joined the lawsuit, which resulted in a number of settlements, the details of which were not revealed. In 2000, he ranked No. 25 Hottest People Under 25, tying with Justin Timberlake of rival band *NSYNC.
Littrell longed to Christian music, a subculture he described as "pop optimistic." Littrell signed a solo deal with Reunion Records in 2004 and released the solo album Welcome Home in 2005. Littrell co-wrote six of the songs on the album, which has sold over 100,000 copies in the United States and reached No. On the Billboard 200 charts, there are 74 places. Welcome Home debuted at No. 1 on the Christian album charts, earning the No. 1 spot. 3.
