Bianca Crawford (née Blair), née Blair, (born April 9, 1989), is an American professional wrestler who is currently signed to WWE, competes in their growing territory NXT under the ring name Bianca Belair.
Early life
Blair attended Austin-East Magnet High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she excelled in many sports, such as track. Blair, a track and field star who competed in the hurdles, was an obstacle runner. She had what ESPN writer Sean Hurd described as "a tumultuous six-year track career" that culminated in her attending three colleges. She first attended the University of South Carolina and then Texas A&M University, but later did not participate for a year before completing her college career at the University of Tennessee, where she was named to the SEC's academic honor roll in 2011 and 2012. She was also a CrossFit competitor and powerlifter, having appeared in RX magazine, Femme Rouge magazine, and CrossFit.com. Blair revealed on June 9, 2017 that she was engaged to fellow professional wrestler Kenneth Crawford, better known as Montez Ford. On June 23, 2018, the couple married on June 23, 2018. Professional wrestling career
According to Hurd, Blair entered her details into the WWE prospect database shortly after the fact of her CrossFit career came "more on a whim than with an actual goal." Mark Henry, a 20-year WWE veteran who had come across Blair's profile on the CrossFit circuit, said he might get her a tryout but she had to do the job less than two weeks later.
After two official tryouts, Blair signed a WWE deal and was posted to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, on April 12, 2016. Blair made her first appearance during an in-ring segment at an NXT live event on June 25 as "Binky Blair," where she claimed to be the "EST of NXT..." she said, "Binky Blair" was the prettiest, highest." Despite a deterrent presence from Carmella and Queen Zelina, she retained her crown against Deville on the April 25 episode of Raw. Belair then defended her title against Asuka and Lynch in a triple threat match at Hell in a Cell on June 5. Belair defeated Carmella at Money in the Bank on July 2 to keep the title. The rematch for the title was planned for the July 11 episode of Raw, which Belair lost by countout due to Lynch's interference but maintained the name. Belair retained in a new rematch for the title the following week. She then defended her crown against Lynch at SummerSlam on July 30, and the two teams would hug each other after the match, putting an end to their feud. However, they were confronted by Bayley and her new allies Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, reigniting their feud.
