Nikki Cross Career

Professional wrestling career

Glencross began training at the Scottish Wrestling Alliance in September 2008, where she made her debut for the role as a result of then-SWA ring announcer Marty Michaels' creation of Storm Nikki Storm. She began working on the British independent circuit in February 2010 and became a mainstay for shows such as her debuting at the Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) and Pro-Wrestling: EVE, where she appeared in the Pro-Wrestling: EVE Championship three times. Storm began performing in Japan with JWP Joshi Puroresu, and made some appearances for World Wonder Ring Stardom in the summer of 2015. Storm began fighting for American all-female titles, including Shimmer Women Athletes, Shine Wrestling, and Women Superstars Uncensored in October 2013. She has competed for Global Force Wrestling (GFW), Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), World Wide Wrestling League (W3L), Queens of Combat (W3), and World Xtreme Wrestling (W3L).

Glencross participated in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA)'s British Boot Camp 2, which premiered in October 2014, in which she was unsuccessful. She had a four-way match against Kasey Owens, Kay Lee Ray, and Leah Owens, who was victorious.

Glencross earned a tryout with WWE in London in the fall of 2015, and in April 2016, she was one of ten signees to begin training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. During a live event on April 22, she made her NXT debut. Nikki Cross was introduced as Nikki Cross during a Facebook live video in August. On the 17th episode of NXT, she made her first television appearance and in-ring debut on August 17th, defeating Daria Berenato, Mandy Rose, and Alexa Bliss. Nikki Cross returned as part of Sanity's debuting heel stable, along with Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young, and Sawyer Fulton (who was later replaced by Killian Dain). In the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Nikki Cross and Young accompanied Fulton and Wolfe for their triumph against Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger. Nikki Cross won her first televised singles victory over Danielle Kamela one week later, but the decision was reversed after Nikki Cross continued to attack Kamela after the match. Nikki Cross came to the aid of NXT Women's Champion Asuka, who was being assaulted by The Iconic Duo (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce), before turning on Asuka and attacking her as well. As a result, Cross, Royce, and Kay were placed in a four-way match at the Takeover: San Antonio event on January 28, which Cross failed to win. In May, Cross took part in Asuka's NXT Women's Championship, where she, Ruby Riot, and Ember Moon were among the last competitors left in the competition, and as a result, all four of them were forced to match at Takeover: Chicago, which was later changed to a three-way match after Ember Moon sustained an injury. Cross failed to win the title at the competition. Riot was the first disqualified in a three-way elimination match against both women once more before the match came to a no contest as Cross and Asuka brawled backstage. On the 28th June episode of NXT, the two women faced each other for the final woman standing match (the first-ever in WWE history) between the two women for the NXT Women's Championship, in which Cross was defeated once more.

Takeover: Brooklyn III, Cross accompanied and supported Sanity in winning the NXT Tag Team Championship from The Authors of Pain on August 19th. Sanity supported Drew McIntyre against The Undisputed Age on September 20th, bringing them face in the process. Cross earned herself a spot in the upcoming NXT Women's Championship at TakeOver: WarGames on October 18, which was ultimately won by Ember Moon. Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, and Killian Dain were all recruited to SmackDown during the 2018 Superstar Shake-Up, bringing Cross on NXT to the NXT as a singles competitor.

Cross began a short winning streak in 2018, defeating Lacey Evans and Vanessa Borne. Cross began a feud with Shayna Baszler over the NXT Women's Championship during the summer, which culminated in a match between the two teams at Takeover: Chicago II, which was ultimately lost by technical submission. Cross returned in August after a short absence, and she was inserted in the Aleister Black attack storyline in which she was revealed to be a witness because she was on the roof of the building at the time when he was struck. Cross also began a brief feud with Bianca Belair in September, which culminated in a match between the two teams that ended in a double count-out. On October 17, a rematch of NXT concluded in a no contest after Aleister Black returned and interrupted it to ask Cross who his attacker was one month later. Johnny Gargano was eventually revealed as the attacker, and her participation in the storyline culminated in a match between Cross and Gargano's wife Candice LeRae, whom she defeated in a singles match at TakeOver: WarGames. On September 9, 2019, Cross appeared in her final NXT match against Bianca Belair, effectively ending the feud between the two groups.

Cross made her surprise main roster debut on SmackDown in Manchester, England, on Monday, answering an open challenge from WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch, who beat her in a non-title match. Cross was billed as one of the six NXT wrestlers destined to be promoted to the main roster on the 17th of December 2018. Cross made her Raw debut against Bayley and Natalya on January 14th, 2019, partnering with Bayley and Natalya in a thrilling bid against The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, and Sarah Logan). Cross played her first Royal Rumble match at number 8, lasted nine minutes before being disqualified by The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce). On the fourth February episode of Raw, Cross and Alicia Fox, The Boss 'n' Hug Connection (Bayley and Sasha Banks) defeated them in a contest to determine the final Raw entrants in the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Champions at the Elimination Chamber competition. Toni Storm, the current champion, defeated the NXT UK Women's Championship on Monday (airborne 24 April) at Worlds Collide.

Cross was confirmed to have been drafted to the Raw brand on 8 May taping of Main Event, after not being shown during the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-Up. (Waited on 11 May). Alexa Bliss began to work with Alexa Bliss and announced that they would compete for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship and the SmackDown Women's Championship during the coming weeks. The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship was broadcast on August 5, 2019, marking Nikki Cross' first appearance in WWE.

They will defend the title at SummerSlam and Clash of Champions, but they lost it in a Cell to Asuka and Kairi Sane. Despite being drafted separately rather than as a team during the 2019 WWE Draft, the team stayed on Raw, but SmackDown was traded to SmackDown.

Cross and Bliss won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship for the second time by defeating Asuka and Kairi Sane, but SmackDown to Bayley and Sasha Banks lost the battle on June 5, 2020.

Nikki Cross' inspired faux-hero gimmick changed to Nikki A. S. H. on Raw's 21 June 2021 episode, with A. S. H. standing for "Almost a Hero." She won the Women's Money in the Bank ladder contest and put up her money in the Bank's account the following night, defeating Charlotte Flair for the first time in her career. However, she regained the title at SummerSlam due to her inability with Flair. She will win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship for the third time with Rhea Ripley by defeating Natalya and Tamina on September 20th episode of Raw. They lost it on the 22nd episode of Raw to Queen Zelina and Carmella, the couple's reign came to an end at 63 days. She turned heel on Ripley's 10th appearance on Raw on January 10, 2022. She competed in the Royal Rumble at the namesake event and finished at number 42, killing fellow superheroe Mighty Molly due to being jealous of her before she was eliminated by eventual winner Ronda Rousey. She entered the Elimination Chamber match for a Raw Women's Championship match in WrestleMania 38, but Ripley disqualified her. Dana Brooke's WWE 24/7 Championship will be won on May 2nd in Raw, but Brooke and Brooke lose it on the same episode.

She started with Doudrop as a tag team in May 2022. A. S. H. and Doudrop, the Women's Tag Team Championship, was postponed on May, until the tournament's crowning of new champions, which began in August. They lost in the first round to Alexa Bliss and Asuka. A. S. H. and Doudrop made a surprise appearance on NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for their titles, but they lost the match. A. S. H. became the first woman in WWE to compete for any of the current active women's titles in WWE.

Cross appeared in a match between Bayley and Bianca Belair on October 24, 2022, threatening both women and reverting to her "unhinged" gimmick and her "Nikki Cross" name.

Other media

Cross is playable in WWE 2K20 and WWE 2K22.
