Only for Kazuchika Okada to make his AEW debut and save Page, White and Cole attacked Page, but not before that. Cole, Page, White, and Okada would face each other in the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship for Forbidden Door shortly after. White kept the World Championship at the tournament. Cole suffered a serious concussion during the game, resulting in a short absence from AEW programming.
Cole returned to AEW Rampage in 2022 by making his way to the ring accompanied by The Young Bucks and ReDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly). Cole told the audience that he was excited to be back and that, although not entirely clear to return to in-ring action, he wanted to highlight loyalty and discuss the upcoming Trios Tournament. Cole and ReDRagon then turned to the Young Bucks. Adam Page, the "Hangman" came to the Young Bucks' assistance.
