Career
Gonzalez began his acting career in New York, where he appeared in a small role in the film Thicker Than Blood (1998) as Sanchez. In 1999, he made his debut as Ricky in the film Mambo Cafe, which was released in 2000. He continued his development by appearing in the film Prince of Central Park (2000) before heading to Los Angeles, California.
In Los Angeles' 2001 film Crocodile Dundee, he landed a small part as a gangbanger. Rudy Bonilla in The Rookie, starring Dennis Quaid and as the sex-crazed Primo in the 2003 film Biker Boyz, followed him. Timo Cruz appeared in the film Coach Carter in 2005. Gonzalez also appeared in Twista's "Hope," the lead song off the Coach Carter film soundtrack.
