Nithiin is an Indian film actor and producer best known for his appearances in Telugu cinema.

He is the son of well-known Tollywood producer and film distributor Sudhakar Reddy.

Nithiin made his film debut in 2002 with Jayam, for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South.

Personal life

Nithin Kumar Reddy was born on March 30, 1983 to film producer Sudhakar Reddy and Laxmi Reddy. Nikitha Reddy, his elder sister, is his name. He completed his education at Geetanjali School, Begumpet, and received his secondary education from Ratna Junior College before moving on to Shadan College of Engineering and Technology, Gandipet. Gunde Jaari Gallanthayinde and Chinnadana Nee Kosam later became a producer and created two films with him, including Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and Chinnadana Nee Kosam. Nithin has a second letter in his name and spells it out as Nithiin.

In 2020, Nithiin was engaged to Shalini Kandukuri, his girlfriend. They married at Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad, on July 26th. The marriage was supposed to take place in Dubai on April 16th, the same year as the COVID pandemic.

Career

Nithiin began his acting with the film Jayam in 2002, which was directed by Teja. Teja noticed him at a 35-mm theater screening of his film Nuvvu Nenu on two occasions, but Teja later approached him about his acting work and photo shoot, choosing him as the lead for his directorial and production venture Jayam, which also stars Sadha and Gopichand.
