Kill the Noise, Jacob Stanczak, is an American DJ and record producer from Rochester, New York.

"Recess" was ranked at number 57 on the UK Singles Chart, owing to his collaboration with Skrillex, Fatman Scoop, and Michael Angelakos.

Skrillex's debut album Recess features the song as the title track.

Kill The Noise Career


Stanczak produced a DJ mix for Barcode Recordings compilation album Shades of Black, which was included on its CD release in 2006.

Kill the Noise's fifth studio album, The Path of Totality, was released in 2011 and was included on "Narcissistic Cannibal" and "Fuels the Comedian" from Korn's tenth studio album, Kill the Noise. On October 18, 2011, "Narcissistic Cannibal" was released as a single, with the album following on December 6, 2011. Stanczak appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on February 3, 2012, with Korn on stage.

Kill the Noise was named MTV Clubland's "Video Pick of the Year" for his album "Kill the Noise (Part I)," which was released on his 2011 Kill Kill Killer EP, which was released via OWSLA.

Kill the Noise, a second time for MTV Clubland's "Pick of the Year" for his song "Black Magic (Kill the Noise Pt II)" which was released off his 2012 BLVCK MVGIC EP. He embarked on his headlining North American tour dubbed "The Black Magic Mystic Wonder Tour" earlier this year.

Kill the Noise began working on several major film soundtracks, including the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), namely Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, and composer Brian Tyler. Kill the Noise and Feed Me released their single "Far Away" in October 2014, which was followed by a music video animation from Augenblick Studios, which is known for their work on the Adult Swim show Super Jail.

Kill the Noise founder, Mat Zo, worked with AnjunaBeat artist Mat Zo to debut the song Kill the Zo, Pt. It was accompanied by a tour of the same name.

Through OWSLA, Kill the Noise produced his first full-length album OCCULT CLASSIC in 2015. AWOLNATION, Dillon Francis, Tommy Trash and Madsonik were among the album's performers. The debut of this album was followed by his headlining tour, "Occult Classic Tour," which travelled around North America.

Kill the Noise's music video for his single "I Do Coke" with Feed Me appeared in April 2016. The Occult Classic was later followed by a 17-track remix album titled Alt Classic (stylised as ALT CLASSIC) which featured notable artists REZZ, NGHTMRE, Snails, Gammer & Slander on May 13, 2016. Tom Sandoval from the hit Bravo show Vanderpump Rules appeared in the video. Frankie Goes to Hollywood's classic "Relax" was reimagined by him in 2016, with A$AP Rocky, Nitty Scott, and Sam Sparro for Zoolander 2. Kill The Noise appeared at the Fuji Rock Festival on July 23, 2016.

The return of Xander Cage (2017) was featured in Kill the Noise's book "Divebomb" which starred Tom Morello for the box office. On the Horizon Tour, which travelled through North America from October to December, Kill the Noise was joined by Seven Lions and Tritonal in the fall. Kill The Noise is a band from the United Kingdom who performed "Cold Hearted" on Monstercat Records.

Kill The Noise co-produced the joint song "Horizon," which was written on their 2017 North America tour. Kill The Noise was also on display at Electric Daisy Carnival as the bassrush stage headliner at the Electric Daisy Carnival on May 20, 2018.

Kill the Noise wrote and produced the song "Redemption" which starred Al Jourgensen of Netflix Original Film In the Shadow of the Moon (2019 film).
