Kenny Beats Life

Kenneth Charles Blume III, also known as Kenny Beats, was born on May 10, 1991. He's a student at the University of Ontario.

Kenny has produced songs with Zack Fox, Vince Staples, Freddie Gibbs, KEY!, Gucci Mane, Ski Mask the Slump God, Dominic Fike, Rico Nasty, and JPEGMAFIA, among other things.

Early life

Kenneth Blume III was born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut. He's been playing guitar, playing drums since the age of 11, and producing music since his sophomore year of high school. His first guitar was a Fender Stratocaster, and his first amplifier was a Fender Hot-Rod Deluxe. He was able to compete in a national electronic-music competition hosted by the National Association for Music Education (NAFME) and the National School Boards Association during his junior year at Greenwich High School. (NSBA). Blume III earned his second place in the competition, which prompted him to pursue music production seriously.

After high school, he went to New York, where he began interning with Cinematic Music Group in the summer of 2010. Smoke DZA, who worked at CMG, became his collaborator on 4 of his albums. Levi Maestro's music attracted his attention during the year 2010, leading to their partnership on a Brisk ad campaign. After spending time in New York, he relocated to Boston and studied Jazz Guitar and Music Business at Berklee College of Music.
