Kenneth Anderson Career

Professional wrestling career

Anderson, he went under the ring name "Two Rivers Jack" on his debut in Whitewater, Wisconsin, on September 11, 1999, losing to Golga. He fought just twenty-one matches before he appeared for the World Wrestling Federation in Jakked in 2001, where he lost to Essa Rios. When shows ran in Wisconsin, he occasionally served as an enhancement talent for WWF. Anderson appeared on Xplosion, NWA's second television show. Jeff Jartt, the promotion's boss, approached him for a job but negotiations fell apart.

Anderson was sent to the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) developmental territory, where he would remain for six months after signing with WWE in February 2005. Jim Cornette, who was in charge of the company when he arrived, didn't see promise in his abilities and declined to include him as more than a sporatic bit-player on OVW's website. When Cornette left Anderson, his replacement, Paul Heyman, demonstrated an instant interest in Anderson, comparing his role to The Rock and Steve Austin. Anderson was called up to WWE's main roster to work on Velocity five weeks later. He cites Heyman for assisting him in shaping the character with which he would be able to succeed.

Before his first SmackDown!

By taking a microphone and making his own ring announcement, he revealed himself to be a cocky and arrogant wrestler in the match. For this match, he referred to himself as "Mr. Anderson." A few weeks later, to avoid comparing the more popular Anderson family (as well as former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ken Anderson), he shortened his name to "Ken Kennedy" or "Mr. Kennedy was president Kennedy" Heyman's original plan was rejected but the decision was made because it is the middle name of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

In his SmackDown, Kennedy, a heel, defeated Funaki. On August 25, I made my debut. With SmackDown, Kennedy created an ongoing mini-feud! Tony Chimel, a ring announcer based on Kennedy, feels that Chimel's announcement was not done properly or with sufficient reverence, and therefore, he was not involved in initiating his own introductions or requesting Chimel to introduce him again. Until the match became one of his signatures, Kennedy's self-ringing debuts. He was also working in OVW while working on both Velocity and SmackDown! During the game, Kennedy made his pay-per-view debut at No Mercy, defeating Hardcore Holly and injuring Holly's ribs.

On the November 11 episode of SmackDown!, Kennedy met Eddie Guerrero to qualify for a spot on SmackDown! The Survivor Series team at Survivor Series. Guerrero gave him a steel chair and played possum, a move that Guerrero had made popular. The referee turned around and saw Guerrero on the ground with Kennedy in charge of the chair, effectively disqualified Kennedy, detaining Kennedy. SmackDown has landed the team's captain. Guerrero is located in Mexico. This was Kennedy's first defeat. After the match, Kennedy struck Guerrero over the head with the chair. This was Guerrero's last televised match, although he died two days later. In interviews about the incident, Kennedy has said that this is a "unfortunate honor."

Kennedy spent December in the United Kingdom on WWE's overseas tour. On the second day in Italy, Kennedy suffered a genuine latissi dorsi tear. Kennedy was hospitalized for nearly six months while recovering from the injury. On SmackDown, he continued to make appearances! Velocity appeared on both January and February, as well as on the WWE Byte This! episode on January 11, 2006! Todd Grisham will continue to be visible, with Todd Grisham assisting.

Kennedy returned to in-ring action against OVW Heavyweight Champion CM Punk in a title match that Kennedy lost at the OVW tapings on May 17.

Kennedy made his return to SmackDown!

After using the "Kenton Bomb," the "Kenton Bomb" won over Scotty 2 Hotty on June 9 in a victory over the "Kenton Bomb." Matt Hardy won by a landslide on July 14th, snapping Kennedy's streak of never being defeated by pin or submission. Batista put out an open challenge to find an opponent for The Great American Bash on July 21 as his original challenge, Mark Henry, had been wounded. Kennedy accepted the challenge and gained the match by disqualification, but he sustained an injury during the game after being thrown headfirst into the steel steps, resulting in a cracked cranium laceration that needed twenty stitches to close. Vince and Shane McMahon were involved in Vince and Shane McMahon's D-Generation X feud, appearing at both SummerSlam and the August 28 episode of Raw to debode them.Kennedy defeated Finlay and Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match to win the WWE United States Championship for the first and only championship appearance in WWE history on September 1st. Kennedy revealed on SmackDown's September 8 episode that he wanted to move to the Raw brand as SmackDown! Since he had already beat every top performer on the roster, he did not bother him anymore.

This led to SmackDown!

To be held at No Mercy, General Manager Theodore Long is bringing a match between Kennedy and The Undertaker, who Kennedy had never encountered. After The Undertaker struck Kennedy with the United States Championship belt, he regained the match by disqualification. Kennedy, who has since won over The Undertaker, has reiterated his desire to go Raw on October 13 episodes of SmackDown! Nevertheless, Long faced an enemy he had never met before — this time Chris Benoit — with the United States Championship on the line. Long said that if Kennedy were to defeat Benoit, he would be released and be allowed to go to Raw. After submitting to the "Crippler Crossface" following a distraction by The Undertaker, Kennedy eventually lost the match and the United States Championship to Benoit.

In November, Kennedy joined forces with Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) in matches against The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane). Kennedy and MVP lost to the Brothers of Destruction three times on SmackDown's November 3 episode. Theodore Long restarted the game with no countouts after being first being counted out. Long regained the match again with no countouts and no disqualifications after Kennedy disqualified his team by doing a poor job. MVP feud with Kane, while Undertaker challenged the Undertaker to a match at Survivor Series, which was later announced as a First Blood match. After MVP turned on Kennedy and shot for his head with a steel chair, Kennedy defeated him at Survivor Series, the Undertaker was still bleeding. The Undertaker attacked Kennedy after the match, causing him to bleed. Armageddon, Kennedy, and the Undertaker were scheduled in a final match; they were not mixed in a Last Ride match. The Undertaker defeated Kennedy in the match.

Kennedy returned to SmackDown after a brief hiatus. On January 5, 2007, David Benoit defeated Chris Benoit in a "Beat the Clock" match, with the overall draw being a shot at Batista's World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. Kennedy's time of 5:07 was the fastest since he stopped The Undertaker from beating his record. He lost to Batista at the Royal Rumble, as well as a subsequent match on SmackDown's February 9 episode. Kennedy began a brief feud with ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley, which culminated in a match at No Way Out for the ECW World Championship, which Kennedy lost by disqualification after Lashley struck him with a chair. On the February 20 episode of ECW and the March 2 episode of SmackDown, Kennedy defeated Lashley unsuccessfully for the ECW World Championship. I'm sure they're all about the same thing.

On the February 27 episode of ECW, Kennedy earned a spot in the 2007 Money in the Bank ladder match by defeating Sabu against Sabu in an Extreme Rules match. Kennedy won the Money in the Bank ladder match, giving him the opportunity to face any world champion in WWE until WrestleMania XXIV. On the 30th episode of Raw, Kennedy declared that he would be earning money in the Bank championship chance in eleven months at WrestleMania XXIV. On the May 7 episode of Raw, Kennedy, he lost his money in the Bank's briefcase to edge, suffering moments after being struck with a monitor before the match began. It was revealed that his right triceps muscle had tore off the bone during his match against Edge and that he would be out for at least seven months. The fracture, on the other hand, was not as bad as first expected, as the triceps tendon did not break off the bone but rather than a massive hematoma.

As part of the WWE Draft, Kennedy was drafted to the Raw brand on June 11 in a Raw show. Carlito hosted the interview segment Carlito's Cabana on August 20 on Raw's August 20 episode. Carlito challenged Umaga for his Intercontinental Championship in SummerSlam, while Kennedy demanded a shot at the competition. Raw General Manager William Regal called a match between Kennedy and Carlito, in which the winner would face Umaga at SummerSlam. Regal arranged a triple threat match against the three guys at SummerSlam for the Intercontinental Championship after the match ended in a draw; Umaga retained the title at SummerSlam. Mr. McMahon revealed on Raw's September 10 episode that Kennedy had been banned for "impersonating a McMahon." This story was published because Kennedy was regarded as one of the eleven wrestlers convicted of a steroid controversy and, as a result of WWE's Wellness Policy, he was suspended for thirty days.

Kennedy returned to television on October 1 of Raw, facing John Cena in the main event and losing. With World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, Kennedy defeated Paul London, Brian Kendrick, and Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy at No Mercy. For many weeks, Kennedy began a feud with Hardy, which culminated in the two teams fighting off in a singles match and several tag team matches, the bulk of which were won by Hardy. Kennedy and Hardy were two of the eligible wrestlers for a WWE Championship match that evening, pending a fan vote. Shawn Michaels was voted out of office and received a shot at the top, but neither man received the opportunity. On Sunday, Kennedy defeated Hardy at Cyberspace.

On the night of Survivor Series, Kennedy and Michaels locked up a feud. Michaels, according to Kennedy, it was time for him to move forward and allow the younger wrestlers to shine. Michaels beat Kennedy in "Sweet Chin Music" at Armageddon, according to the composer. Kennedy pinned Michaels in a rematch by executing his latest finishing move, the "Mic Check." The two teams secured victories over each other in subsequent rematches.

Kennedy was not seen for weeks after WrestleMania XXIV because he was filming Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia, amid several months of minor feuds and short storylines. On April 28, 2008, Kennedy returned to Raw, confronting and brawling with Raw GM and newly crowned King of the Ring William Regal, who is now turning face in the process. Kennedy defeated Regal in a "Loser Gets Fired match" on May 19 on Raw's May 19 episode, opening up the General Manager role on the Raw brand.

Kennedy was drafted back to the SmackDown brand during the WWE Draft on June 23 on Raw. At a house show on August 4, he dislocated his shoulder in a match against Shelton Benjamin, which kept him off television for three months. On the November 24 episode of Raw, Kennedy made his return to WWE television in a non-wrestling role. Enemy Lines: Colombia

Mr. Kennedy was called back to Raw as the brand's first pick of the 2009 Supplemental Draft on April 15, 2009. WWE aired a video package on May 11 of Raw to promote Kennedy's return. He made his official Raw return two weeks later, after his team triumphed in a 10-man tag team competition.

Kennedy was banned from his WWE service on May 29, just four days after returning from his rehab. Anderson said in a March 2010 interview with WrestleZone that his release was due to fellow wrestler Randy Orton's admission that Kennedy was reckless in the wrestling, citing a botched backdrop that led Orton to land on his head and neck instead of on his back. Orton argued that this may have ended his career. Orton had also compelled John Cena to inform Vince McMahon about Kennedy's in-ring results, which led to McMahon to fire Kennedy from his job.

Kennedy expressed his interest in joining Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in his first interview since his capture. Kennedy appeared at the 2009 World Wrestling Council's anniversary show, where he lost to Eddie Fatu. He appeared in a variety of events in independent promotions, including the Hulkamania: Let The Battle Begin tour in Australia. Mr. Anderson, the ring name, played matches with Fatu again, the latter's last matches before his tragic death on December 4 in the second round.

Anderson signed a one-year deal with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in January 2010. On January 17, 2010, he made his debut for the Genesis pay-per-view, under the ring name Mr. Anderson. He wrestled Abyss, who pinned brass knuckles, establishing himself as a loser in the process.

When he and his mother (inset), brother, and sister returned to California, the teen was a sophomore in high school. When fighting housing insecurity, the four families have spent the past three years sleeping in their cars and domestic violence shelters. His classmates were unaware that he didn't have a house and often wondered why he would be dropped off at 7 eleven. Armstead, who graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High School this spring, was at a friend's house when he learned he was accepted into Fisk. At the historically black college, he is studying kinesiology.
