Career and background

Rouvas began singing at the age of four and writing at the age of eight. She appeared on stage at an early age and then moved to the United States of America at 16 years old to pursue her singing as a singer-songwriter. Tina Arena, an Australian artist, toured France and China in 2001. In 2006, Diana appeared in Los Angeles for the G'day LA celebrations. Never Said Hello, she recorded and published an original Extended Play in 2006.

Rouvas auditioned for the first season of The Voice in 2012, performing "Work It Out" and was selected on Team Keith Urban. She made it to the final top eight. On the ARIA Charts, two of the songs she performed on the show reached the top 30.

Rouvas and Damien Leith premiered "Run" in October 2012. The song was Leith's second single from his fifth studio album, Now & Then.

Rouvas was signed to Universal Music Australia and co-wrote "Heart of Goodbye" by her co-wrote with producer and songwriter Louis Schoorl in April 2014. An EP was planned but it was never revealed. Diana was released from her Universal Music Australia contract in 2015 at her request.

Rouvas returned and auditioned for The Voice (Australian season 8) and selected Team Boy George. Rouvas was named the winner on July 7th, 2019.

"Wait For No One" was her debut single and was released immediately after the premiere on July 7th. During its debut week, the track failed to crack the top ten thousand, with only 800 units shipped. In August 2019, remixes were introduced.

Rouvas was named as a participant in Eurovision - Australia Decides in December 2019, in an effort to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. In a field of ten, her song "Can We Make Heaven" placed seventh.
