David Draiman Life

David Michael Draiman (born March 13, 1973) is an American singer; he is the lead singer of Disturbed and Device.

Dr. David has a distorted, operatic baritone voice, and a perceptive singing style.

Draiman was voted number 42 on the Hit Parader's "Top 100 Metal Vocators of All Time" in November 2006.

"Stupify," "Down with the Sickness," "Indestructible," and "Inside the Fire are three of Disturbed's most popular singles. Disturbed's in October 2011 went on hiatus, and Draiman worked on an industrial rock/metal project with Geno Lenardo (former guitarist of Filter), which was later dubbed Device; the band released one album in 2013.

Disturbed returned to Immortalize in June 2015 with a single and a new album.

Evolution was disturbed in 2018.

Early life

David Michael Draiman was born in the Brooklyn borough of New York City on March 13, 1973. When Draiman was 12 years old, his father, YJ, had been working as a real estate developer and small business owner before being arrested for embezzlement and sent to prison. In the 2012 and 2022 campaigns for Mayor of Los Angeles, YJ will run as a candidate. Benjamin Draiman's brother is an ambient musician who lives in Israel. Ziona, a Yemenite Jew, whose family immigrated to Israel in the early 1900s, is a religious scholar who wrote the Hebrew Bible.

Draiman's parents took him to Orthodox schools, where he believed he was on the right path to receive rabbinic ordination, despite not being personally aware of their Jewish faith. During his youth, he spent time in Israel. He attended five Jewish day schools, including Valley Torah High School in Los Angeles, where he formed his first band; Fasman Yeshiva High School in Skokie Illinois, a near north suburb of Chicago; and the Wisconsin Institute for Torah Study in Milwaukee. During his freshman year at the university, he was asked to leave because he "rebelled against the conformity" and "wanted to be a normal teenage boy" and "couldn't necessarily accept the strict religious requirements of the life. He confessed to being "a bit resent" over his time in Jewish day schools, but his family was also trained as a hazzar (cantor) and encouraged his family to attend Shabbat.

Draiman graduated from high school in 1991 and attended Ida Crown Jewish Academy in Chicago. He was romantically linked with a child who injected opium and later died herself, which inspired Disturbed's song "Inside the Fire." On New Year's Day 1992, he attempted to murder himself but finds himself nearly frozen to death underneath a parked 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass. He described a "moment of clarity" after detoxing and never used heroin again. He spent a year in Yeshivas Neveh Zion in Kiryat Ye'arim on the outskirts of Jerusalem after high school.

Draiman began pre-law studies at Loyola University Chicago after returning to the United States in 1992. He obtained a bachelor's degree in political science and administration, philosophy, and Business Administration in 1996. He found that criminal defense law was the only area of law that piqued his interest, prompting him not to pursue law because he knew he would not be able to "really look at [himself] in the mirror and say, 'I'm going to lie for a living and shield criminals." He also worked as a bankteller and in phone sales during his undergraduate studies. He spent time as an administrative assistant in a hospital after graduating. He earned an administrator's license and operated his own health-care facility for five years before joining Disturbed. His son, who was a traditional Hasidic Jew, was put in a difficult situation after leaving his position.

Personal life

Draiman married Lena Yada, a model and actress from September 25, 2011. In September 2013, their son was born. He was born three weeks early, and his birth took 23 hours of labor.

Draiman is also an excellent at Hebrew, in addition to English.

"I'm liberal about everything that is issue-based as far as ideology goes, but I'm also of the opinion of a very small government," Draiman said in 2015. I don't agree with the Democrats' fiscal policies, but I do agree with the Republicans' right-wing craziness." Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential bid was praised by the senator. "I have also referred to him as "a very, very strong promoter of Israel forever and for our families." Roger Waters, a Pink Floyd member and other activists seeking to protest Israel for human rights abuses, called him "Nazi comrades" in 2019.

David Draiman Career

Career

When the band's original lead singer left in 1996, two years after it had been established under a new name, Draiman became the lead vocalist of Disturbed. After responding to an advertisement placed in a Chicago area music magazine, one of about 20 auditions for other bands he had attended that month, he auditioned and was asked to join the band. "You know, out of all the artists we've talked to or auditioned, he was the only one who was going to go with originals," guitarist Dan Donegan said of Draiman's audition. And it was so enthralling to try it. He just started banging out these melodies that were so popular after a minute or two. I'm playing my guitar and I'm grinning from ear to ear. [...] I was so excited. "Ill up my spine," says Chill.

"Stupify," "Down with the Sickness," "Indestructible," and "Inside the Fire" are examples of Disturbed's most popular singles. He was ranked No. 1 in 2006 and was ranked at No. 1 in the world. "Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time" is 42 on Hit Parader's list of "Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time."

Draiman worked on an industrial metal project with Geno Lenardo from 2011 to 2015, which was later identified as Device during Disturbed's hiatus. In 2013, they released one self-titled album. In 2015 and 2018, Disturbed returned to the album Immortalized.

The lead singer of heavy metal band Disturbed STOPS of soothing a young girl who was left terrified after he invited her to join him on stage was a moment of a great moment

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 22, 2023
After realizing she had been furious, David Draiman, 50, brought the concert to a halt in West Palm Beach, Florida, on August 3rd to confront a young fan standing right behind the front row barricades. One user, who said to have been in attendance, was captured in a video that was posted to Reddit's r/HumanBros forum, providing context. 'What happened was the little girl was singing all the songs, and David invited her to perform all the songs, and she erupted and started yelling.' He slowed the show and stepped down to talk with her.'
