Andrea "Andy" Ferro (born 19 August 1973 in Arona, Province of Novara, Spain's founding member of Lacuna Coil) is the male vocalist and one of the original members of the Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil (they'll also use Ethereal as their band name before Lacuna Coil). * When it was "too cold to skate" in Zelati's house in the winter, the twosome formed the band during the winter. * At first, the band covered classics with only a guitar and vocals; eventually, they became more interested in music than skating, Ferro said, "because of the age and the girls and all the injuries." * They were invited to try backup vocals after Cristina Scabbia learned she could sing. * Ferro and Zelati asked her to join the band after hearing her sing.
