Taylor Michael Rotunda (born May 25, 1990) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Bo Dallas.Rotunda is a third generation professional wrestler; his grandfather Blackjack Mulligan, father Mike Rotunda(I.R.S.) and uncles Barry and Kendall Windham were all professional wrestlers.

His brother Windham Rotunda is also a professional wrestler, better known as Bray Wyatt.While in WWE's developmental territories Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and NXT, he was a three-time FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion, a two-time FCW Florida Tag Team Champion with his older brother Bray Wyatt, and a one-time NXT Champion.

Following his move to WWE's main roster, he teamed with Curtis Axel as part of The B-Team to hold the Raw Tag Team Championship once, and held the 24/7 Championship once.

Early life

Rotunda attended Hernando High School, and graduated in 2008. During his final two years of high school, he qualified for the state wrestling championships. He also played football as a defensive tackle. Originally, he was offered a football scholarship at Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida, but when the offer fell through, he decided to become a wrestler instead. Rotunda always had a naturally large build and bulky physique, he was already 5’10 and 210 lbs at the age of 15 which is why he chose to compete in sports like football and wrestling which include a lot of physical strength and power.

Personal life

Rotunda's father is wrestler Mike Rotunda and his grandfather was wrestler Blackjack Mulligan, the latter being a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. His uncle is wrestler Barry Windham.

Rotunda was married to Swedish arm wrestling champion Sarah Bäckman from 2014 until their divorce in 2019. In February 2021, it was revealed that he was in a relationship with fellow wrestler Gionna Daddio, better known by the ring name Liv Morgan, with the two living on a farm and starting a real estate business to prepare for life after professional wrestling.

Professional wrestling career

Rotunda signed a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2008 and was sent to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), where he debuted on November 15, 2008, defeating Kaleb O'Neal. Rotunda, a wrestler under his real name, teamed with Kris Logan to defeat Ryback and Jon Cutler in a tag team match on December 16, 2016. Rotunda continued wrestling in tag team competitions into early 2009, and in February, he changed his name to Tank Rotunda. He began wrestling as Bo Rotunda and later Bo Rotundo, and the following month, he started working with his brother, Duke Rotundo. The Rotundo Brothers defeated The Dude Busters (Caylen Croft and Trent Barretta) on June 23, becoming the top contenders for the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship. They defeated Justin Angel and Kris Logan for the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship on the same night. They continued to defend the championship against Dylan Klein and Vance Archer, as well as the team of Curt Hawkins and Heath Slater. The Rotundos lost the championship to the Dude Busters (Hawkins and Croft) at the FCW television tapings on November 19, the Rotundos lost the championship to The Dude Busters. The Rotundos and their boss, Sarona Snuka, began feuding in early 2010 with The Usos (Jimmy and Jules), and their boss, Jimmy and Jules. They erupted in April as Rotunda faced Andrews in a singles match and ended by disqualification when Hawkins interfered.

Rotunda returned from FCW due to injury, but he made his return in June. He entered singles competition, defeating wrestlers including Derrick Bateman, Hawkins, Tyler Reks, and Brodus Clay. Mason Ryan, the FCW's heavyweight champion, had an open challenge in August, which Rotundo accepted. He failed in the next championship match by submission. Rotundo defeated Ryan for the first time on February 3, 2011, but Lucky Cannon followed him straight afterward. On May 19, he revived the championship from Cannon three months later. Rotundo played in numerous untelevised matches before Raw and SmackDown in July and August. Rotundo pulled the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship due to injury on September 1st. Rotundo had suffered a laced kidney in the previous month, and it was expected to be absent for several months to recover.

Rotundo appeared on the tapings of FCW's January 29, 2012, episode, announcing his intention to regain the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship. Rotundo and his brother, Husky Harris, won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship for the second time on February 2, a second time. The brothers dominated the championship until March 15, when they lost it to Corey Graves and Jake Carter. Rotundo made several appearances at WWE house shows in May 2012, defeating Drew McIntyre. Rotundo won the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship for the third time after Victor defeated Seth Rollins for the third time in a live match on June 16. In 2012, WWE rebranded FCW as NXT, Rotunda made his NXT television debut under the name Bo Dallas, depicting a happy-go-lucky and tenacious character under the ring name Bo Dallas, where he defeated Rick Victor. Dallas qualified for the newly founded NXT Championship in August; he was disqualified by Jinder Mahal in the quarterfinals. Dallas lost in a deadly four-way elimination match against Mahal, Drew McIntyre, and Justin Gabriel on November 7 of NXT; despite removing McIntyre and Gabriel, Dallas succumbed to Mahal.

Dallas won the Royal Rumble fan tournament on January 26, 2013, defeating Luke Harper, Conor O'Brian, and Leo Kruger to win the tournament. Dallas' next day, the Rumble match at number 16, where he lasted more than 20 minutes and eliminated Wade Barrett, the WWE Intercontinental Champion who returned to the ring and eliminated Dallas. Barrett and Dallas were locked in a non-title match on Raw next night, which Dallas defeated Dallas in a close contest. Dallas appeared on the February 11 episode of Raw, comparing Barrett to Kofi Kingston before Barrett's match against Kofi Kingston. Barrett was later disqualified for the Intercontinental Championship in a losing effort.

Dallas, Simultaneously as a result of Barrett's feud with Barrett, has qualified for the NXT Tag Team Championship tournament alongside Michael McGillicutty. The pair advanced to the semi-finals beating Primo & Epico, but they were unable to reach the Wyatt family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) due to Bray Wyatt's interference. Dallas was denied a victory by Wyatt in a three-way match against Conor O'Brian and Corey Graves due to Dallas' earlier refusal to join The Wyatt Family. Dallas lost in a match between Dallas and Wyatt, which Dallas won. Starting in late April 2013, the NXT audience began to revolt against Dallas (despite Dallas' refraining from changing his appearance) and began booing him. Adrian Neville, the NXT Tag Team champion, selected Dallas to replace his injured partner Oliver Grey, but the team lost the championship to The Wyatt Family on May 8. Dallas' character began to have subtle, nefarious characteristics of being disingenuous shortly after.

Dallas defeated NXT chief Dallas in the NXT Championship on May 29. Dallas captured the NXT on June 12 (taped on May 23). During mid-2013, he successfully defended the championship against Antonio Cesaro and Leo Kruger. By then, the NXT audience's hatred of Dallas had risen to the point of screaming all his opponents while cheering all his opponents, thereby turning him heel in the process. Dallas held an open competition to determine his next title challenge in September, but Sami Zayn was barred from participating, so Zayn masqueraded as the masked El Local and defeated Dallas to earn his championship shot. Dallas maintained his position by turning Zayn into an unveiled turnbuckle during the match on October 16 of NXT. Dallas then met Adrian Neville in December and lost by count out to keep his position.

Dallas lost the title to Neville in a rematch of NXT Arrival in February 2014 and then failed to recover it in a rematch on NXT on March 27. Dallas attempted to "Occupy NXT" the next month, but the audience turned on him, and he was forced into a match against Justin Gabriel, which he won. After struggling to find his own way, he was thrown into a match against Big E on May 22. Dallas then lost the game and was forced to leave NXT as a result. He attempted to return to NXT in June by playing as the masked character "Mr. NXT," but Zayn revealed him and coerced to leave, causing him to leave.

WWE began airing motivational-style introductory vignettes for Dallas on April 7 on Raw. Dallas made his official main roster debut on SmackDown's May 23 episode by defeating Sin Cara. This was the start of a winning streak, with a 3-2 victory over Xavier Woods in SmackDown's May 30 episode. Dallas made his first pay-per-view appearance at Payback, where he was supposed to meet Kofi Kingston. Due to Kane's interference, the game never took place. Dallas would take home his fourth title on Raw the following night. Dallas continued his winning streak over Santino Marella, Xavier Woods, R-Truth, Fandango, and Titus O'Neil. On the July 4 episode of SmackDown, Dallas beat El Torito for his eleventh victory over Diego. He would go on to defeat El Torito for his twelfth victory and then defeated Diego and Torito in a handicap match for his thirteenth and fourteenth victories. Bo blasted the "14-Bo" streak he admitted in a video. He continued his struggle against The Great Khali, Damien Sandow, and Dolph Ziggler. Dallas became the 16th individual to be disqualified by Dolph Ziggler at the Battleground for the 19-man World Championship; he defeated Sin Cara and Titus O'Neil before being defeated by Dolph Ziggler, making him the 19th person eliminated by the tournament. On the July 28 episode of Raw, R-Truth ended Dallas' undefeated streak, sparking a little feud between the two groups.

Dallas began torment Jack Swagger about his defeat to Rusev at SummerSlam after Swagger's matches. After losing to Rusev at Night of Champions on September 29, Dallas began feuding with Mark Henry, torturing him like he did Swagger following Henry's loss to Swagger. Dallas unsuccessfully challenged Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship on October 7 on Episode 7 of the Main Event. Dallas then won three sets of singles and tag team matches before being defeated by Henry in a match on the Hell in a Cell pre-show, putting an end to the feud.

Dallas made his televised return to WrestleMania 31 in March 2015, where he was defeated by Hideo Itami during his four-month absence due to a foot injury. Dallas came out and shocked Sting, alerting him to Bo-lieve before receiving a Scorpion Death drop. Dallas reignited his rivalry with Neville on May 18 in Raw, attacking him before and after his match with King Barrett. Dallas lost in a losing effort at the Elimination Chamber. Dallas interrupted Brock Lesnar's death to Lesnar at SummerSlam on August 24 before Lesnar struck him. Dallas lost to Goldust, Konnor and Viktor), and The Miz, a five-on-five Survivor Series elimination tag team match, with Dallas, The Cosmic Wasteland (Stardust, Konnor and Viktor), and Titus O'Neil competing in a five-on-five competition on the Survivor Series elimination tag team match where the Dallas, The Dudley Boyz, Cosmic Wasteland (Bubba Ray Dudley, Bo Dallas, dressed as Uncle Sam, was lost to Mark Henry at a tribute to the Troops.

On the January 4, 2016 episode of Raw, Dallas, With Heath Slater, Curtis Axel, and Adam Rose, you'll all be a new stable. Slater, Slater, and others joined Slater in defeating Dolph Ziggler, dubbed "Social Outcasts" by the earliest stages. They will remain a stable for seven months, with all of them competing in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, which was won by Baron Corbin. The Social Outcasts began filming The Marine 5: Battleground in May, taking them out of action.

Dallas was drafted to Raw in the 10th round at the 2016 WWE draft on July 19 (50th overall). Dallas then returned to Raw on September 5 with a sign reading "Bo-lieve in Bo," speaking in rhymes and sporting a more pungent attitude as he defeated a local competitor. The following weeks, Dallas will continue defeating local opponents. Bo Dallas teamed with Curtis Axel in a losing effort to Sami Zayn and Neville on a October 10 episode of Raw. Dallas defeated Neville with Axel in his corner, and Axel was assaulted after the match. Dallas beat Axel by pinning him while clutching Axel's ties the following week. Dallas was a participant in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on April 2, 2017, losing to eventual winner Mojo Rawley.

During a in ring segment between Miz and his wife Maryse on June 19, he met Dallas and Curtis Axel, promising to make them "the stars [they] deserve [they] should be] if they become his entourage," if they become his entourage. On June 26 edition of Raw and Jason Jordan and The Miztourage, Dallas and Axel, now known as The Miztourage, began aiding Miz in his matches and occasionally teamed him with him, including championing against Dean Ambrose, Heath Slater, and Rhyno. They helped Miz beat Jason Jordan to keep his position at No Mercy. Dallas participated in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on April 8, 2018, but he was unable to win. Miz was relocated to the SmackDown brand as part of the Superstar Shake-Up, though Dallas and Axel stayed on Raw. Dallas and Axel faced Miz on the 16th episode of Raw, ending their match and ending their friendship.

The pair adopted the new team name "The B-Team" and defeated Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango), their first victory as a team since August 2017. The B-Team defeated the number one contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championships on June 4 on Raw's episode. The B-Team defeated Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy to win the Raw Tag Team Championship at Extreme Rules. They successfully retained their status against Wyatt and Hardy on the upcoming episode of Raw on July 23. The B-Team transformed into faces and adopted a new entrance theme and mannerisms in the following weeks, this will be Dallas' first appearance as a celebrity since 2013. The B-Team successfully recovered their title against The Revival on August 19 at SummerSlam (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson). The B-Team lost the championships to Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre on the third episode of Raw on September 3, snapping their reign at 50 days. They had a rematch for the titles the following week on Raw, but they were dissatisfied.

The B-Team at Survivor Series made up a member of Team Raw when they face Team SmackDown in a 10-on-10 Survivor Series tag team elimination match, but Team Raw will win the match, and Team Raw will remain on Team Raw will remain unchanged. Dallas took the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on April 7, 2019, but did not win the competition. Both Dallas and Axel were relocated to SmackDown as part of the Superstar Shake-Up. The B-Team developed a brief friendship with Shane McMahon on SmackDown Live on April 30, thus turning back to the octagon once more. Dallas became the WWE 24/7 champion on the backstage area with Axel's assistance, only to lose it to Maverick later this afternoon. In October, Dallas' last televised match was played at Crown Jewel, where he and Axel failed to win the tag team tumultuous competition. Braun Strowman had Dallas and Axel assaulted on November 15 in SmackDown's final appearance in WWE, and it was Dallas' last appearance in WWE.

Rotunda requested time off in December from WWE, which was granted. He also sustained a neck injury that prevented him from serving in the ring. Curtis Axel, WWE's tag team partner, was released on April 30, 2020. Rotunda was hired almost a year later, on April 15, 2021, after a year of absence, bringing an end to his 13-year tenure with the organization.
