Atharvaa Career

Career

In 2009, his father received an invitation to appear in a film directed by Badri Venkatesh and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. The film, called Baana Kaathadi, was released in March 2009 and featured Atharvaa and Samantha, a fellow rookie actress Samantha. Portraying a youngster from Royapuram's slum area, he stayed in the area for forty-five days to learn about the culture, but he also learned how to fly a kite for the film, canning scenes at the Gujarat Kite Festival. Murali made his debut in August 2010, and critics were largely lauding his debut with Sify.com, who wrote "he dances and emotes well." Similarly, a Rediff.com reviewer said "romance is a cake-walk" for the actor, comparing his father's roles in romantic roles, but "his dialogue delivery is a bit too melodramatic." He continued to be praised at the Edison Awards for Best Debut Actor, while also receiving a nomination from the Vijay Awards in the same category. Murali was encouraged to start pre-production on a Tamil and Kannada bilingual film starring Atharvaa due to the film's success. However, Murali's father died as a result of cardiac arrest in Baana Kaathadi's release a month after. Atharvaa took a break to spend time with his family before beginning to work on a new venture.

Gautham Vasudev Menon had previously expressed an interest in directing Atharvaa for a film. A year later, Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal, where he appeared as a youngster suffering from hallucinations, had an average collection, but had miles to go in the histrionics group and voice modulation, according to Sify.com. Paradesi was his first film under Bala's direction, for which he received several accolades, including the Best Actor – Tamil award. Chandi Veeran, a comedian, appeared in Sargunam's Chandi Veeran, which was a fail at the box office.

In the box office, Atharva's Eetti, a sports drama film directed by S. Michael Rayappan, was a hit in the box office, as he collaborates with Sri Divya and the thriller Kanithan, in which he stars Catherine Tresa and Ethia. Kickass Entertainment, he founded in January 2016, announced that he had founded Kickass Entertainment. Badri Venkatesh, who had just introduced Atharvaa as an actor, would direct the first film under his banner. Gemini Ganeshanum Raajanum was announced in 2017, starring Aishwarya Rajesh, Regina Cassandra, Pranitha, and Aaditi Pohankar.

Atharvaa's debut production Semma Botha Aagathey (2018), directed by Badri Venkatesh, was a modest success following multiple postponements and launch issues. The next was a mystery thriller, Imaikkaa Nodigal (2018), in which he appeared as Nayanthara's brother (Arjun). He received a lot of attention for this film. Boomerang, which appeared alongside Megha Akash in March 2019, received average reviews. Atharvaa made his Telugu debut in the film Gaddala Ganesh in September.

Atharvaa was seen on Netflix in Navarasa, an anthology streaming television series. He appeared in Thalli Pogathey, a Telugu remake of Ninnu Kori's.
