Rory Hugh Culkin (born July 21, 1989) is an American actor known for his roles in Scream 4, Lords of Chaos, You Can Count On Me, and M. Night Shyamalan's Signs. He is the younger brother of actors Macaulay Culkin and Kieran Culkin.
Early life
Rory Hugh Culkin was born in New York City on July 21, 1989, the youngest of seven children born to Christopher Cornelius "Kit" Culkin, a former Broadway stage actor, and Patricia Brentrup, a North Dakota immigrant who met Kit in 1974 while working as a road traffic controller in Sundance, Wyoming. Shane (b. ) is one of Culkin's siblings. 1976–2008) Macaulay, Dakota (1979–2008), 1976 – (B. Kieran, 1980 (b.) Quinn, 1982 (b.) (b. 1984) and Christian (b. 1987 (born in 1987). Jennifer (born 1970) was also his paternal half-sister, who died in 2000. Bonnie Bedelia, Culkin's paternal aunt, is the queen of Culkin.

In 2018, Culkin married cinematographer Sarah Scrivener in New Orleans, Louisiana. Paul Heyman officiated the wedding on the eve of WrestleMania 34.
Career
Culkin began acting with his elder brothers, including Macaulay and Kieran, who were often seen as the younger versions of their characters. He first appeared as a baby in The Good Son, later as Young Richie in Rihie Rih (Richie's being played by his brother Macaulay) and in 2002, he played 10-year-old Igby in Igby Goes Down (17-year-old Igby was played by his older brother Kieran).
Culkin's breakthrough role was in You Can Count on Me, opposite Laura Linney, for which he received a lot of praise and a Young Artist Award. Since then, Culkin has appeared in many films, Signs being the most well-known in which he appeared alongside Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix.
As a youth, Rory began to make independent films, such as The Chumscrubber, Hick, and Down in the Valley. He was one of the leading roles in Mean Creek, a 2004 independent film about a group of teenagers who want revenge on a bully. The entire youth cast of this film received an Independent Spirit Award.
Culkin has received three more nominations since winning the Young Artist Award for You Can Count on Me. In the episode "Manic" of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Patrick Warburton appeared as a guest contributor, and in the episode "Azoth the Avenger Is a Friend of Mine" of The Twilight Zone, he appeared as a mentor.
