Aarya Babbar (born 24 May 1982) is an Indian actor who has appeared in Bollywood and Punjabi films.

Aarya appeared in the eighth season of Bigg Boss in 2014.

Personal life

Aarya Babbar is the son of actor and politician Raj Babbar and actress Nadira Babbar. He has one older sister, actress Juhi Babbar, whose husband is the well-known actor Anup Soni. Pryk Babbar, the actor who is the uncle of Raj Babbar by his second wife Smita Patil, has a half-brother. Aarya's grandfather, along with the first cousin of Pankhuri Zaheer, married in a traditional Sikh wedding ceremony. Jasmine is thought to be employed at a major film/TV production company.

Career

Aarya Babbar began his film career with Ab Ke Baras in Raj Kanwar, along Amrita Rao. He has collaborated with legends such as Mani Ratnam, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Vikram Bhatt. In addition,, he appeared in films including Yaar Annmulle, Matru Ki Bijlee, and Ready. In 2012, Aarya Babbar appeared in the Bengali film Paapi opposite Prosanjit, Pooja Bharti, and Sayantika. On October 11, 2013, Paapi's Hindi version was released. He also appeared in the Punjabi film Heer and Hero, opposite Minissha Lamba, in 2013.

He was a contestant on Bigg Boss 8, where he survived for 8 weeks and 56 days. On February 2, 2015, Aarya Babbar published his first screen book My fiancée, me, & #IFu**ed Up. Pushpak Viman has also written a comic book. Bangistan and Riteish Deshmukh have been co-launched together in a new film.
