Early life and education
Z LaLa was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, in the midst of a family of opera singers and theater actors. Z LaLaLa first started attending school functions and local competitions when she was 12 years old. She was competing internationally by the time of 14, but she wasn't doing appearances at humanitarian festivals. Z LaLaLa, the youngest member of Lil' Wayne's "Making the Next Hit," received the highest award for the 14th generation. She turned down the opportunity to film in Atlanta.
Career
Z LaLa's debut electro-pop album, Zilosophy, was released in October 2011. The second single released by Z LaLa was "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," a cover of the 1980s hit by the Eurythmics. Her single "Strangers in the Night" peaked at #10 on the Billboard dance chart.
