Tessa de Josselin (born 13 April 1989) is an Australian actress.

She left her career as an environmental planner to pursue a career in acting.

De Josselin appeared in an episode of Tricky Company and was cast as Samantha "Sam" Hazelton in children's drama In Your Dreams shortly after joining an acting company.

In the feature film Holding the Man, de Josselin appeared as Macy in This and Anna Conigrave in 2015.

De Josselin debuted in the long-running soap opera Home and Away as Billie Ashford in April 2015.

In 2016, she left the cast and appeared in February 2017.

Early life

Tessa de Josselin was born in Narrabeen and attended Manly High School. She appeared in a production of Debra Oswald's Skate at 14 years old. She later enrolled at Sydney University, where she obtained a combined arts and environmental sciences degree. She continued to work with the New South Wales Government and two non-profit groups based in the Northern Beaches. De Josselin has been surfing since she was six years old. She is a member of the North Narrabeen Boardriders team, who compete in the Australian women's Surf Tag Championships. In Taekwondo, she also has a black belt.

de Josselin joined an acting company while working as an environmental planner. Samantha "Sam" Hazelton appeared in In Your Dreams after a guest appearance in Tricky Business, de Josselin was cast in the lead role. The series is shot in both Australia and Germany, and the second season premiered in 2014. Drift and Nerds in Love, two short films starring De Josselin, followed him.

Billie Ashford, the younger sister of established character Martin Ashford, appeared in late 2014 in the cast of soap opera Home and Away as Billie Ashford. On April 27, she made her first film appearance on May 27. De Josselin confessed to a TV Week writer that she had found some of Billie's "challenging," specifically an arc where Billie falsely accused another individual of sexual assault. Billie's departure storyline aired in February 2017, shortly after the actor left the show in 2016.

"Roller-derby enthusiast" Macy made recurring appearances in the teen drama Ready for This. Macy is also a lesbian, and de Josselin was pleased with the growth, commenting that "on commercial television, there aren't many gay roles being written for young adults." Anna Conigrave appeared in the Neil Armfield-directed film Holding the Man, as well as Ryan Corr and Guy Pearce. De Josselin and Rachel Griffiths appeared in SBS crime thriller Dead Lucky after she left Home and Away.

De Josselin was cast in the romantic comedy film Paper Champions, directed by Jo-Anne Brechin in early 2019. Holly De Josselin plays Holly, a "confident and determined nurse."
