Career

Plakson began her acting career on stage and played four characters opposite Anthony Newley in the national revival of Stop the World, I Want to Get Off. In the Broadway production of La BĂȘte, she also appeared Marquise Du Parc.

Plakson appeared on Love & War as a sports writer. Margaret "Meg" Tynan, a sportswriter, was a regular on the show Love & War. In "The Next Generation" and "The Escuriot," she appeared in four Star Trek series; a Vulcan, Doctor Selar in "The Emissary"; a Half-Human Ambassador K'Ehleyr in "The Next Generation; and an Andorian, Tarah in "Cease Fire" (Star Trek: Enterprise).

Monica de Vertebrae, a blue brontosaurus real estate agent, appeared on Dinosaurs, as well as several other guest voices. Mad About You, Everybody Loves Raymond, and How I Met Your Mother were among her many sitcom appearances. She has appeared in films including Disclosure, Red Eye, and Wag the Dog.

An Evening with Eve was written and performed by Plakson as an allegorical solo performance. Plakson penned and performed the alternative country rock album DidnWannaDoIt!
