Linda Patricia Robson (born 13 March 1958) is an English actor and presenter best known for her role in the sitcom Birds of a Feather and her appearances on the ITV series Loose Women from 2012.
She had a large number of appearances on film as a founder student of Anna Scher's Theatre School.
Early life
Robson was born in Islington, London, to an English father and an Irish mother. She has two sisters. Anna Scher founded her Theatre School in 1968, with Robson and Pauline Quirke among the founding students. Shelburne Secondary School for Girls, which later amalgamated into Highbury Fields School and The Young Actors Theatre, all located in Islington, later in the year.
Personal life
Robson has lived in Islington, London, all her life. She is married with three children. Lauren was the first child of long-time partner Tony Tyler, as well as other children born to husband Mark, who married in 1990.
Robson's father, a chain-smoker, died of lung cancer when he was 57 years old. In August 2012, her mother died of cancer for the second time. In October 2013, Robson led an interactive video campaign for the British Lung Foundation aimed at banning smoking in cars with children on board in the United Kingdom in honour of her father.

Career
Robson appeared on film in the 1970 film Junket 89, produced by Children's Film Foundation, as well as other actors from The Anna Scher Children's Theatre in Islington, including Pauline Quirke. In the second series of the original BBC Survivors drama aired in 1976, Robson played Barbara, a young girl in a group of homeless teenagers. However, this has since been postponed due to Lesley Joseph's tumultuous schedule. For this Christmas, a 2020 special has been shot, but without Pauline Quirke, who has resigned from acting to put efforts in to other pursuits, it would not have been possible.
