Sara Maxine Diamond (born January 5, 1995) is a Canadian singer/songwriter from Montreal, Quebec.
She is best known for her singing of the American National Anthem for the Montreal Canadiens during the 2013/14 and 2014/15 NHL Playoffs.
Career
Sara began her career in 2000 (age 5) when she performed for The Kiboomers, a children's record company. She debuted her self-titled debut album on Vain Records in 2008. During this period, she appeared at various functions, including ONE X ONE and Future Electronics' Christmas party, as well as Roberta Flack's opening.
She auditioned and became the first female member of the Clique Girlz, a girl group that has pledged to Interscope Records under Jimmy Iovine. In April 2009, the company was dissolving.
Sara began singing for the Montreal Canadiens during the 2013 season, before going on to sing the American National Anthem alongside Ginette Reno during the 2014 and 2015 NHL Playoffs.
