Early life

Justin Drew Bieber was born in Stratford, Ontario, on March 1, 1994. He is the son of Jeremy Jack Bieber and Pattie Mallette, who never married. Diane and Bruce, Mallette's mother, helped her raise her son. Bieber's ancestry includes French-Canadian, Irish, English, Scottish, and German.

Bieber has three younger half-siblings through his father, Jeremy. Jeremy and his ex-girlfriend, Erin Wagner, who split up in 2014 after seven years together, have two children, daughter Jazmyn, and son Jaxon. Jeremy and Chelsey married in February 2018, and they have a child named Bay. Allie, Bieber's daughter, is also a stepmother. Bieber has wrestled with mental health issues, particularly depression and anxiety, at various times during his career. He has been fairly open about these topics. With regular intake of lean, pills like MDMA, and hallucinogenic mushrooms in early stages of his career, the singer opened up about his struggles with heroin.

Bieber revealed on Instagram that he had been diagnosed with Lyme disease in January 2020. He also revealed that he had infectious mononucleosis, which affected his physical and general wellbeing.

Scooter Braun, a former marketing executive for So So Def Recordings, happened to click on one of Bieber's 2007 YouTube videos by accident. "Boyfriend" debuted on top of the Canadian Hot 100 for the first time by debuting at number one and staying on for one week. In February 2012, Bieber appeared on American hip hop band Far East Movement's song "Live My Life," the group's fourth studio album Dirty Bass's fourth album "Live My Life."
