Roshan Ranawana (born 23 March 1981) is a Sri Lankan film actor and a model.
In 2013, Ranawana was named one of the most popular actresses at the Derana film awards. Ranawana made his acting debut with Hiripoda Wessa (2006) and received the Presidential Award for best upcoming actor for his role.
He was instrumental in numerous corporate successes, including Tharaka Mal (2007), Asai Mang Piyabanna (2007), Rosa Kale (2008), Feel My Love (2008), Dancing Star (2009), and Suwanda Danuna Jeewithe (2010).

Roshan is married to his longtime partner Kushlani. Minneth, the couple's one son, was born in 2019.
Ranawana is a devoted Buddhist and committed vegetarian. He appeared in several Buddhist programs on TNL television, particularly about the vegetarian life. He is also a volunteer for the Cancer Care Association, which is also an active fundraiser on curing cancer around the world.
Acting career
Ranawana started his cinema career with the blockbuster teen romance film Hiripoda Wassa, directed by Udaya Warnasuriya. He also remembers that Prageeth is his best stage appearance. In the subsequent year, he received the Presidential Award for the best upcoming actor for his role in Hiripoda Wassa. Following the success of Hiripoda Wassa and Asai Man Piyambanna with south Indian actress Pooja Umashankar in 2007, he became a household name in Sri Lanka's film industry. He was given the role as Sri Lanka's broadband ambassador (SLT). Tharaka Mal and Asai Mang Piyabanna, his second and third films, were released in 2007. He appeared in more than 15 commercial and academic films, especially as the lead actor. In 2013, he received the award for the role in the film Sri Siddhartha Gautama.
Ranawana appeared on television as part of the soap opera Vasuda, which was telecasted on Sirasa television. Due to his busy schedule as a cinema actor, then appeared in only few television serials. He appeared in the first season of the Sri Lankan reality dance show Sirasa Dancing Stars, broadcast by Sirasa TV, in third place in 2008. On Derana TV, he is one of the judges in the famous beauty competition Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka for Miss World.
