Early life
Thusitha Laknath was born in Sri Lanka on September 7th, 1983. He obtained his education from Koswatta Jayawardena Vidyalaya and Ananda College in Colombo.
Career
He began his theatre training at Tower Hall Theatre Foundation after dropping out of school. Thusitha was first involved in dramatic drama with Fontamarawa in 2000. In 2002, he returned to The Doll's House. He spent most of his time as a stage manager from 2002 to 2007, and in 2007 he appeared in Swayankreet's production of Swayankreethawa, Sindu Pahai, Security, and Romeo and Juliet. For three of these roles, he received national Best Actor accolades. He appeared in the play Ada Vage Davasaka Antigone, directed by Priyankara Rathnayake.
