Ronald Winston "Ron" Yuan (born February 20, 1973) is an American actor, voice actor, martial artist, action director, director, and stunt choreographer of Chinese origin.

He is known for his roles on Sons of Anarchy, Prison Break, Golden Boy, and CSI: NY.

He also supplied the voice of Sgt.

Fideltin Rusk in the video game series Star Wars: The Old Republic and Scorpion in Mortal Kombat 11

Yuan was born in New York City, New York, the son of Theresa and Joseph Yuan, and the brother of actor Roger Yuan.

Career

Yuan appeared in Roland Emmerich's Independence Day sequel, Independence Day: Resurrection, with Yeong as the main weapons engineer. Yuan appeared in the film The Accountant (directed by Gavin O'Connor), starring Ben Affleck, J. K. Simmons, and Anna Kendrick, who plays a reluctant Silat master. Yuan had a cameo in Martin Scorsese's Revenge of the Green Dragons, directed by Andrew Lau (Infernal Affairs) and Andrew Loo as the feared leader of the infamous BTK. In a semi-autobiographical film from first time director Angie Wang, who was born in the 1980s and is both a manufacturer and seller of ecstasy, Yuan joined Francesca Eastwood and Annie Q.

Yuan also appeared in hit films Art of War, Fast and Furious, Cradle 2 the Grave, Blood and Bone, and Red Dawn.

Yuan was a regular on Netflix's "Marco Polo," directed by John Fusco. Yuan plays Prince Nayan, a fiery-eyed descendant of Genghis Khan. Nayan is a convert Christian who rules all of Manchuria and whose closely monitored activities could have a huge effect on Kublai's hegemony in Asia.

As Quon Zhang, a cryptic Blacklister on Jon Bokenkamp's hit show "The Blacklist," Yuan appeared on Jon Bokenkamp's hit show "The Blacklist." Yuan appeared in the final season of "Sons of Anarchy" as the dynamic and volatile Ryu Tom. In Nicholas Wootton and Greg Berlanti's short lived CBS series "Golden Boy," Yuan played hard-nosed Lt. Peter Kang. On the television shows "Castle" and "Justified," Yuan had also appeared on Yuan's "Castle" and "Justified." Yuan also appeared in Warner Bros' legendary Japanese character Scorpion in "Generations," a sequel to Warner Bros' iconic Mortal Kombat X.

Yuan has appeared on HBO's "All Signs of Death" opposite Ben Whishaw, directed by Alan Ball. Yuan recently had character arcs on FOX's "Touch" opposite Keifer Sutherland (Heroes), NBC's "Awake") opposite Jason Isaacs and FOX pilot "Exit Strategy" directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day).

Yuan also appeared on other hit shows, "CSI:NY", "24," "Burn Notice," "NCIS:LA," "Pushing Daisies," and "Entourage."

Yuan has also been involved with major computer games such as Call of Duty-Black Ops 2, Star Wars Old Republic, Resident Evil, Mission of Warcraft, Medal of Honor, Army of Two, Deus Experiment, Drake's Uncharted, Ret. 3 and many others.

Yuan wrote the battle sequences as well as being behind camera as the Action Director on Steve Chasman/ Jason Statham's "Wild Card" scripted by William Goldman and directed by Simon West. Yuan recently wrapped up the mission on the Taipe Ying Xiong 2" (Black and White 2) in Taiwan.

So far, including Lollipops (2009), Three Bullets (2009) (starring Michael Jai White) and Tea and Remembrance (2009), starring himself and Marie Matiko, he has produced and written several short films. Russell Wong, Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, and Ian Anthony Dale are all currently working on a film called "Unspoken" starring Russell Wong, Brian Tee, Will Yun Lee, and Ian Anthony Dale.

Step Up: Year of the Dance, a Chinese dance film based on the Step Up franchise, was later directed by Yuan.
