Nicholas Grant Dean (born in Orlando, July 1996), also known as Nick Dean on stage, is an Alternative-pop singer/producer, photographer, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California.

Early life

Nick Dean's parents moved the family from Vernègues, France, where Nick spent his childhood. Nick travelled extensively through North Africa, Central America, and Asia, where his mother laid the foundation for a non-profit that she would later create. Nick Dean and his family immigrated to Rochester, New York, at the age of 11. Nick joined his family on a four-month journey through Southeast Asia, where he taught himself to ride a motorcycle, strapped his guitar to his back, and performed in orphanages, hill tribes, rural schools, and bars in northern Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.

Musical career

When Nick Dean was 8 years old, he became a lead soloist with a famous, internationally touring boys choir in France, travelling around Europe and Guadeloupe/Martinique. Nick Dean auditioned for and gained a spot on the first season of the US television show The X Factor at the age of 14. Despite the fact that he was brought by Simon Cowell into Intensity (stylized as InTENsity). By a majority vote in Week 2, the group advanced to the live shows where they were voted off at The Stereo Hogz' expense in Week 2. However, InTENsity received more votes than The Stereo Hogzz, implying that if the result went to deadlock, The Stereo Hogzz would have been deleted. Nick Dean moved to Los Angeles, California, in 2013 to continue his music career. Nick Dean reconnected with his buddy Mike Miller from Rochester, Los Angeles. Introducing Nick Dean's debut album "How Did We?" the two formed Nomad Music Group and began writing and co-producing a new sound and style. In August 2017, there was a birthday.
