Megan Burns (born 25 June 1986), also known as Betty Curse, is a British singer and actress.
Early life and acting career
Burns was born in Liverpool, England. When Burns was 11 years old, she was taken to acting lessons. Liam (2000), a television actress from there, received a role in the film Liam (2000). For her role, she was given the Marcello Mastroianni Award at the Venice Film Festival. Danny Boyle watched this and starred her in his film 28 Days Later, where she played Hannah, one of the survivors of a deadly epidemic. Megan appeared in the film In2ruders, directed by Naeem Mahmood, as well as Tony Hadley and Caprice Bourt.
Singing career
Burns has since performed as a singer under the pseudonym Betty Curse. "Met on the Internet" and "Excuse All the Blood" were two A-side singles before her first single release, which was released on May 29th, 2006. Hear Lies' debut was on iTunes on October 31, 2006.
