Eunhyuk 이혁재 Life

Lee Hyuk-jae (born April 4, 1986), better known by his stage name Eunhyuk, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and singer.

He is a member of the South Korean boy band Super Junior and their subgroups, Super Junior-T and Super Junior-H.

He joined Super Junior's Mandopop subgroup, Super Junior-M, and the duo Donghae & Eunhyuk; both active in China and Japan respectively, in 2011.

Early life

Born in Neunggok, Gyeonggi, South Korea, Eunhyuk was born. Lee So-ra is he's older sister. He was interested in street performing as a child growing up in a family that struggled financially. Eunhyuk trained himself at a young age, inspired by the likes of H.O.T's Jang Woo-hyuk, Michael Jackson, and singer-dancer Yoo Seung-jun. He formed a dance crew in elementary school, 'SRD', which stood for Song Rap and Dance. He and his childhood friends Kim Junsu, Hwang Tae Jun, and Choi Min Seok formed the group. The crew's fame soared in their hometown, and when SRD first appeared in a local newspaper, it was then that Eunhyuk realized his aspirations to become a singer/performer.

He auditioned for SM Entertainment through the company's Starlight Casting System at the age of 13. However, he failed the audition in 1999 and enrolled as a trainee this year. He began training in singing, dancing, and acting, as well as short Mandarin Chinese language courses. He was also screened by a renowned modelling company in Seoul but ultimately declined due to contractual constraints. He completed his master dance class in 2000 and won the Goyang citywide dance competition. In 2002, Eunhyuk, Kim Junsu, and another trainee Sungmin were placed in a Project R&B team. Moon Heejoon and Kangta taught the group and three future members of TRAX (Jay Kim, No Minwoo, Kang Jungwoo) a short appearance in a show called Heejun vs. Rock, where they learned techniques on various aspects of singing. When Junsu went on to debut as a member of TVXQ in 2003, the trio disbanded. With ten other male trainees, Eunhyuk and Sungmin were then placed in another project group, Super Junior 05, the first generation of rotational boy band Super Junior.

Personal life

Following a video of Super Junior Kiss the Radio, Eunhyuk, Shindong, Kyuhyun, and two others were involved in a car accident on April 19, 2007, just two months after it was announced. The front left tire burst as the driver was switching lanes and the van slid into the guard rail/median on the driver's side and skidded for about 30 meters while they were on the highway, but they were on the highway. The van's momentum prompted it to flip over on its right side at some point. Although Shindong and Eunhyuk sustained minor injuries, Leeteuk and Kyuhyun sustained more serious injuries, which required both to be hospitalized.
