Low Ki Career

Professional wrestling career

He began wrestling for Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW) in 1998, opposing Homicide and Kane D for the JAPW Tag Team Championship. He qualified for the JAPW Light Heavyweight Championship twice, but won the second Best of the Light Heavyweight Championships tournament, defeating Crazy Ivan and Judas Young.

He made several appearances in the World Wrestling Federation in 2000, including Metal and Jakked, where he competed against the likes of Raven, Crash Holly, Christian, and Essa Ros. He made it to the finals of All Pro Wrestling's King of the Indies tournament the previous year, losing the crown to the American Dragon. During 2001, he defeated Nick Berk and Homicide in separate matches on the same evening to win both the JAPW Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Championships; he would also defend both titles in separate matches later this month. In a Three Way match against Homicide the following month, he lost both titles, with Xavier as the other competitor.

On February 23, Low Ki made his Ring of Honor (ROH) debut at its first exhibition, The Era of Honor Begins. In the show's main event, he defeated Bryan Danielson and Christopher Daniels, nicknamed "The Fallen Angel" in the show's main event. Crowning a Champion, Robert Gordon became the first ROH champion by defeating Daniels, Spanky, and Doug Williams in a Four Way Ironman match on July 27, 2002. Low Ki defended his title against A.J. on August 24, which was a win for him. Styles. He lost the title to Xavier, who, after winning the title, became a member of Daniels' faction The Prophecy. In what was Joe's first ROH debut in a "Fight Without Honor" match, Low Ki then met Samoa Joe on October 5 in what was Joe's first ROH debut. Low Ki won the match and shook hands after the match in what seemed to be more of a MMA brawl. Low Kiwod in 2004 due to the Feinstein accident, but he returned on July 17, 2004, when Samoa Joe and the Briscoe Brothers fought against the Rottweilers (Homicide and the Havana Pitbulls). It seemed that Low Ki would save Samoa Joe from a beating by The Rottweilers, but instead, he spat on the ROH Championship, which was then skipped by Joe, and joined the Rottweilers.

On Friday, Thunder Night 2's founder, Bryan Danielson, was a feud with Bryan Danielson, who was Low Ki's partner in a match against Samoa Joe and Jushin Thunder Liger. Low Ki and Danielson were dissatisfied with the game, and Low Ki blamed his partner for it, so the Rottweilers took the field to face Danielson. Danielson defeated Homicide of the Rottweilers at All Star Extravaganza II on December 4, the Rottweilers' Homicide. Low Ki fought Austin Aries in a number one challenge to determine who would face ROH Champion Samoa Joe for the title in the same tournament. The match came to a draw. Officials shortened the game, but Low Kiowa refused to participate, so Aries was declared the champion. Low Kiwane wrestled Danielson instead of facing Joe in the Final Battle of 2004, but the referee was disqualified and dismissed him. As a result, ROH officials were compelled to suspend him indefinitely.

Low Ki resurfaced on May 7, 2005 and instantly attacked Jay Lethal and Samoa Joe at Manhattan Mayhem with his fellow Rottweilers, Homicide, Julius Smokes, Monsta Mack, and Rocky Romero. The Rottweilers vs. Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal were the match that sparked animpromptu tag team competition. With a Ghetto Stomp/Cop Killa combo, Low Ki and Homicide won the match, while Lethal was injured. On June 18, the feud raged at Death Before Dishonor III, where Lethal and Lethal first met in a singles match, but the match ended in a no contest. On August 12, they had a rematch at Redemption, but the result was the same, and Rottweilers defeated Lethal down after the match. Low Ki finally won by 30 points over Lethal after a "Fight Without Honor" on September 17 at Glory By Honor IV. Lethal came out to even the odds and said he wanted another rematch with Low Ki, which Lethal won this time, putting an end to the feud. Samoa Joe went on to save Colt Cabana from a beating by the Rottweilers. Low Ki also helped Homicide with his feud against Colt Cabana later this year. He challenged Kenta in the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship on December 17, 2005, but fell short. Low Ki's business arrangements were discontinued in January 2006 due to a "disagreement in company relations." He defeated Jack Evans in his last match on January 28. After discovering that he was the one who knocked Cornette's tooth out at that performance, ROH defended his departure by requiring ROH commissioner Jim Cornette to prohibit Low Ki from Ring of Honor for life. In the summer of 2006, he was also used as a focus point (in name only) in the Cornette/Homicide conflict, with Cornette refusing to reinstate Low Ki as Homicide's "third wish."

Low Ki's first appearance with NWA Total Nonstop Action (NWA TNA) was on June 19, 2002, a six-man tag team match with A.J. The Flying Elvises have styled and Jerry Lynn. He would later join the Triple X group with Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper this year and compete in the NWA World Tag Team Championship three times under the "Freebird Rule." As Triple X defeated America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) for the title on January 22, 2003, Low Ki wrestled beside Skipper. In July 2004, he left NWA TNA and returned to ROH.

In 2002, Low Ki went to Japan with Pro Wrestling Zero-One. He defeated Leonardo Spanky for the International Junior Heavyweight Championships from him on September 16, which was his first appearance in the tournament.
