David Flair Career

Professional wrestling career

Fliehr did not want to be a wrestler like his father; he always wanted to be a state trooper. At Starrcade 1993 in World Championship Wrestling, he appeared backstage with his father. If he lost his match, his father would have to "retire," according to the storyline, so his family's interaction with him would escalate. In late 1998, David was back on TV, sitting front row and being involved in some skirmishes with Eric Bischoff and the nWo.

In his first match at WCW/nWo Souled Out on January 17, 1999, he eventually decided to become a wrestler and partnered with his father. Flair fought under his father's shortened surname of "Fliehr." They defeated Curt Hennig and Barry Windham, who eventually won the match.

David listened to his father and joined the nWo Elite on February 21, 2009 at SuperBrawl IX. Hogan defeated their WCW World Championship match thanks to a taser on his father's behalf. He did not wrestle for a while, but he did appear in vignettes with Samantha (Torrie Wilson) while training at the WCW Power Plant.

In May 1999, Flair first began to wrestle on a regular basis. He made amends with his father, who then had the Four Horsemen assist him in Flair win matches. Ric, the on-screen WCW president, stripped WCW United States Champion Scott Steiner of his title and presented it to Flair. Flair defeated Dean Malenko with the support of Ric and Arn Anderson on July 11, his first defense on pay-per-view was defeated.

In 1999, Flair was joined by Daffney at Starrcade. Crowbar had him joined a little later. They formed a team and won the vacant WCW World Tag Team Championships on January 3, 2000 over Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner with Anderson as the special referee. On January 19, the Mamalukes" lost the titles to Big Vito and Johnny the Bull, "The Mamalukes." Flair soon left Crowbar, and Vince Russo's New Blood joined Vince Russo's New Blood in May 2000. He demolished Daffney and snared Miss Hancock (Stacy Keibler) as his valet. He also turned on his father, resulting in a match against him at The Great American Bash. Flair lost, but the next night, he defeated his father in a contest to divorce him and shave his father's head.

For the first part of 2001, Flair rode in the independent circuit. On March 21, he joined Don Factor to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship. On March 23, the three children were discovered dead. On March 24, he then joined Romeo Bliss to win the NWA Georgia Tag Team Championship. They were unable to recover them on April 21.

The WWF picked up Flair's WCW work in May 2001 and sent him to Ohio Valley Wrestling. He stayed there and competed with Val Venis, but Mark Jindrak didn't have a brief tag team until late 2002, when they ended his development contract. On March 4 as part of the build-up to his father's match against Undertaker at WrestleMania X8, he made two appearances on WWF television during 2002.

In December 2002, Flair became the founder of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Vince Russo's Sports Entertainment Xtreme (S.E.X.) Xtreme (S.E.X.) The organisation is a member of the African Union. Curt Hennig and his S.E.X. With Brian Lawler and Erik Watts, you will be able to create Next Generation. Dusty Rhodes and they feuded together, shaming him with an old NWA World Championship belt. In early 2003, David left TNA for good.

David left TNA in Puerto Rico on November 28, 2003 and lifted the IWA Intercontinental Championship from Ray Gonzalez. Two days later, he lost it to Gonzalez. After having issues with IWA promoter V.ctor Quies, Flair left IWA.

Reid, his half-brother, was making his professional wrestling debut, beat The Nasty Boys by submission in Charlotte, North Carolina, with Hulk Hogan as the special guest referee.
