Club career

In 2016, he began his career with Barcelona, SC. On April 21, 2019, he scored his first career goal against Delfn de Manta.

He joined Wolverham Wanderers in England's Premier League on January 21, 2020, bringing a three-and-a-half years to the club.

He joined Famalic's Primeira Liga team on a season-long loan on September 19th. Campana made his Famalic debut on September 28, 2020, after being substituted for Rubén del Campo in a 2–1 victory over Belenenses SAD. During a 3–0 victory over Gil Vicente F.C. on April 22, 2021, Campana scored his first goal for Famalico.

Campana joined Grasshopper in Switzerland on a season-long loan contract on July 16, 2021. In a 2–0 loss against Basel, where he conceded an own goal, his first appearance for the Swiss side.

Campana will join Inter Miami's Major League Soccer team on a season-long loan on January 20, 2022. Campana made his Inter Miami debut on February 26, 2022, beginning with a 0–0 draw versus Chicago Fire FC. Campana scored his first goal for Inter Miami on March 6, 2022, the team's first goal in a 5–1 loss to Austin FC. On April 11, 2022, Campana was named MLS Player of the Week for Week 6 of the 2022 season, 2022-2022, for his hat trick against the New England Revolution.

International career

Campana's attention piqued at the 2019 South American U-20 Championship, where he scored six goals in nine games as Ecuador were crowned champions.
