Club career
Ozan joined the Galataray youth academy in 2011, completing the program in 2011. On July 1, 2017, he signed his first professional deal with Galatasaray. In a 2–0 Süper Lig victory over Yeni Malatyaspor on May 12, 2018, Ozan made his professional debut for Galatasaray. This made him the first footballer born in the 2000s to play in the Süper Lig. In a 0–0 home draw against Schalke 04 on October 24, 2018, he played his first Champions League match in the 2018-19 season.
Kabak's transfer to VfB Stuttgart, where he served until June 2024, in a Bundesliga player. In a 5–1 win over Hannover 96 on March 3, he scored twice, marking his first senior career goals. He became the youngest Turkish center-back and third-youngest Stuttgart player to ever score twice in a single Bundesliga match, in doing so.
After Schalke activated a release clause in his deal on June 30, 2019, Kabak joined Schalke 04 on a five-year deal for a €15 million fee. Kabak signed for Liverpool on loan for the remainder of the 2020–21 season on February 1, 2021.
