John Lundvik (Swedish: [d]vik, v)V)k) is a Swedish singer, guitarist, and former sprinter who was born on January 27, 1983) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and former sprinter. He was a member of the IFK Växjö athletic team. In addition, Lundvik has worked as a composer and songwriter for films, including the Wedding of Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, and Daniel Westling in 2010.
With his album "My Turn," he reached third place in Melodifestivalen in 2018. With "Too Late for Love" finishing fifth, he represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Early life
Lundvik was born in London and was adopted by Swedish expatriates in the United Kingdom when he was just one week old. He lived in London until the age of six when his family returned to Sweden, settling in Växjö. He has never met his biological parents.
Musical career
Lundvik began his musical career in 2010, composing the song "When You Tell the World You're Mine" for Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, and Daniel Westling's wedding. In addition to writing music for the film Easy Money, Lundvik continued to compose music for musicians including Anton Ewald, Isac Elliot, and Sanna Nielsen. He has also composed music for the American television series Empire.
Lundvik wrote and performed "All About the Games," the Swedish song for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. He appeared in Alls p. Skansen in 2016, performing a duet with Lill Lindfors in 2016. In 2018, Lundvik performed "My Turn" at Melodifestivalen in the hopes of representing Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
